Jackets win, making our braintrust believe they are on the right track.

To see Wiz somehow make Defenseless crash to the ice unembellished.

I think tonight may bring everyone back to reality after the Winnipeg game. Beating another struggling team 2-1 isn't exactly impressive. But we will see how they do against Minnesota. I'm thinking a 3-2 loss is on the way

Have to admit this game excites me more than it should. The Wiz/Cluster*uck incident and a general dislike of Heatley make me say...GO JACKETS!

P.S. I'm looking at the captain tonight. $7.8 million should be worth more than 20 goals and 40 assists.

I'll be there tonight wearing my 3-0-0 (this season) third jersey. Looking for a 3-1 win with goals from Nash and Prospal and Vermy finally hitting paydirt on an empty-netter.

Couple predictions...

Cal Defenseless is not credited with 147 hits in one game because this is an away game for the wild

Boomer suffers a concussion after sliding through Mason's fivehole and banging his head on the goal cam

Attendance won't be as brutal as other midweek games so far this year

Nash will still think this is the preseason

If Nikitin with Methot are clean the place in the front of the net similar good as in the game with Jets... I will be content and this game we will win

I wonder if they'll get Sanford in against Boston.

Sanford is a short term stop gap NHL goalie...even as a back up. With that said, Mason is more important to the team long term then Curtis. With that said maybe they can give Sanford the Bruins.

If the Bruins light him up...no harm no foul....if the Bruins run Mason out of the building it could really hurt him.

I'm hoping, wishing, and praying that there will be no "long term" to consider with Mason. Three seasons of suck are enough. To me, at this point, Mason is the stop gap until we get some acceptable, NHL talent goaltending. I live for the day to see Mason "run out of the building". Bruins or no Bruins, if Mason isn't damaged goods at this point, I don't know what is.
