Good to see Michalek doing so well. Him and Spezza should be a dominant 1st line pairing for a long time to come.

This. The Heatley trade with SJ might just be the second best trade in Sens history (maybe tied with the Rundblad trade, depending on how he and Tarasenko pan out), second to only the Ya$hin trade. Pretty frickin' amazing considering the circumstances. Even when MM isn't scoring, he brings plenty to the table, unlike Heatley. The only thing that Heatley brings to the table more than Milan is a higher salary and cap hit.

This.

We could have 3 good centers going forward (Spezza, Zibby, Da Costa), and some nice wingers (MM, Silfverberg, our 2012 1st if we draft a winger, Puempel, Noesen, Stone, heck maybe even Filatov if he sticks around and comes around, etc.). We all know we're very well off with a very good, very young D, and what I hope will be at least half of the next King Henrik in goal. Granted, not all our prospects will pan out, but with the number of good ones we have, chances are 1 or 2 will.

Dany Heatley is on pace for 20 goals and 48 points, THANK GOD he asked out when he did or we'd be in a way worse position now with him. We won this trade

He still lost out on that 4 million he had to pay the all-star before he got traded...which I think he is getting back now as we speak.
