Petition to Make the Pepsi Center a Better Place to Play

The Avs definitely feed off the energy of these popular eastern coast teams. The Pepsi Center is a dump, Avs don't look energized in there.

I think this should be fixed. Lets go Kroenke!

"The Pepsi Center is a dump"... the arena? Because it definitely is NOT.

No atmosphere? Yes. That's all on the player's in Denver. If they want the fans to cheer them on, they need to play well. Nature of the beast in Colorado.

I don't think the Avs feed off of the energy in away buildings. Generally when the away team (the Avs, in this case) are playing well, the crowd is silent.

The Avs are heartbreakers for the fans in attendance. Away, they break the hearts of the opposition's fans. At home, they break the hearts of their own fans.

This team is lucky that the fans don't boo them.

The AVs played well for a bit on the road. They haven't done so at home. The AVs really haven't played that well on the road lately. They really haven't done so at home.

Changing up **** at the Pepsi Center will only do one thing...make it more or less enjoyable for fans to watch a bad team. It will not affect the outcome of the games. Hearing what folks have to say about their experience at the Pepsi Center leads me to believe there are many changes that need to be made. However, to think that upgrading to an HD Jumbo-Tron or making changes to either the music or beer selection will help the AVs....well ****...can't help ya there. I'm not that superstitious. The AVs very well might make more money with changes to the fan's experience but until they build a good team, the team's fortunes won't change one bit.

Actually, it will probably also raise ticket prices. That would be a smart move too.

I think the idea is that if the Pepsi Center gets improvements, more people will want to go to games. The players have insinuated that they like playing in front of bigger crowds. Bottom line, though, is that if they play better, the crowds will get bigger.

The arena is fine, it's the team that needs improvements.

McNicolls was a dump and I could have cared less.

Its all about the quality of the team.

Exactly. Seats will fill up fast once the casual fan believes they are going to see a winning team. Right now, that isn't the case and people don't want to pay top dollar to see a rebuilding team. Just the nature of the game.

Wins = higher attendance
