With the first game on Thurs (even though it doesn't affect me), figure I'll kick this off early.
Flex spot conundrum: Benson vs Baltimore or Battle vs New England
Benson obviously has a horrendous matchup (although Lynch was able to put up numbers against them last week). Battle has a pretty decent matchup, but looks like he's fighting with McCluster for touches.
I have Floyd, Heyward-Bey, and Washington on my bench, but none of them can be counted on. Jahvid Best is also on my bench, but he probably won't be back next week.
Waiver wire has Laurent Robinson (vs Washington), Steve Breaston (vs NE), Chris Ogbonnaya (vs Jax), and Felix Jones (who likely won't get much if anything this week, nor would I need him beyond then). Crabtree and Hunter (vs Arizona) are interesting options as well. Doucet is also available, but don't like him against SF.
Just picked up Hunter since Mendenhall is on his bye week. I think he'll see a heavy workload, even if Gore is playing, since we all know that FG is very fragile and the 49'ers would be stupid to risk a injury... especially with the way Hunter has been playing as of late.

Hasselbeck vs. Atl or Flacco vs. Bengals?
I'd take Flacco. The Falcons are going to come out gunz blazzing because of that horrible loss to the Saints last week and the same can be said with the Ravens, since they lost to a weaker opponent in the Seahawks.
I don't expect Flacco to throw over 50 times but I do see him being more productive then Hasselbeck. If the Ravens can go back to running the ball with consistency, it'll help Flacco alot more then relying on his arm 50 times a game while leaving RR in the dust.

I'd grab Robinson ASAP. I'm not sure how big your league is but I'd grab Hunter too. Of the two I'd rather start Robinson as we just don't know how much action Gore's gonna see, thus making Hunter a riskier play. Robinson has been real good with Austin out. Of your options I'd just lean Benson over Battle mainly because I see KC getting smoked, and I just don't know how much they'll be running the ball. I'd start Robinson over either of them.

QBs against the Falcons have scored considerably more than those versus the Bengals, plus Flacco just can't seem to find the endzone, so I'd go Hasselbeck.

Little gets a ton of targets, but it just never translates into production. I'd definitely go Williams. I'm worried about Battle this week because he's only effective if KC is running the ball a lot, and I don't see that happening with them getting blown out. I'd go Helu.

Surprisingly Reggie's the guy there (and the goal line guy somehow). I think I'd lean Bush in a PPR league, otherwise you gotta go with Jacobs.

I've been waiting all year for Starks to have a good game (and I'm still waiting), but I still think you gotta go with a guy who plays that much on the best offense in football over what many feel is the worst (starting) RB in the league on a pathetic offense. Also, the Bucs have given up the 2nd most points to RBs this year.

WR: M. Williams, D. Moore, D. Williams
A lot of people had this feeling that Mike Williams would show up the week they benched him, well for me that was about a month ago and I've never looked back. I know Tampa will likely be throwing all day long, but Moore is definitely a better start (I think Moore's actually a great start this week with the Vikings D having given up so many points to receivers, and mind you that was before Winfield got hurt). I think PPR you could give Mike Williams a slight edge, but otherwise I'd go with Damian.
Pick 3: Fitzgerald, Manningham, Bryant, D. Moore or V. Jackson ?
Fitz is a must, as is Dez. Moore has a phenomenal matchup this week, so as tough as it would be to sit VJax, I would here. The Vikings have given up the third most points to WRs this year, and that was before Winfield got hurt. 6 of VJax's 9 weeks have been bad.

Calvin obviously, and also Manningham. Green Bay's given up a lot of points to opposing receivers, so I think I'd go Mike Williams next. Then I'd give the nod to Washington only because Atlanta has given up significantly more to receivers than the Bengals have.

Fitzpatrick hasn't been great lately, but I'd still give him the nod here against a Dolphins team that's given up a lot of points to QBs this year.

I could see DJax looking to have a big game after the benching, but if Vick's out I'm just not sure that will be possible. I definitely like Brown this week with Floyd still out. I'd probably still go DJax just because his potential to have a huge game makes him too tough to sit for just mediocre options.

Solid options here. Robinson has put up better numbers than Austin in his place, so even though he's relatively unproven, I gotta rate him on production. I'd go with him.
Sidney Rice looks like he's a go. Should I still start Williams?
Man that's close. The better player versus the guy who's been better lately. Both have solid matchups. I'm gonna lean every so slightly with Rice due to him having a more established track record.
This is the exact question I had this week in one of my leagues. The Browns offense is absolutely pathetic, but the Bears D seems to put up a lot of points at home. I think Jacksonville's probably a slightly safer play, but I think the Bears have the higher ceiling. I went with the Bears.
- Flacco is playing against a solid defense in Cinci but with their top CB out of the lineup (Hall), it might not be all that bad. I do expect them to run the ball ALOT, wich actually might help out Flacco more then anything else.
Vs
- Fitzpatrick, who's stuggling atm but is facing a pass defense that isn't all that great in Miami. It's a "must win" game for the Bills IMO but with S. Johnson banged up, I don't think the Bills will be throwing all that much and they'll probably rely on Jackson all day long.

I think I'm going with the safe play here. I'm projected to win my matchup handily, but the prospect of negative points scares the poop outta me.
Gronkowski or Gates? Bears have given up the most FPG to TE's this year but Gronkowski has KC at home. Hernandez is always sharking points though...
I know Rivers has been terrible this year but I think you still gotta go with him over Cutler. An underperforming Rivers is still better than Cutler.

Great options there. I just think Gronkowski has been too good to sit. He's the top TE in the league right now (certainly with Graham on a bye).

Both teams have given up a lot of points to defenses this year, and both defenses are pretty solid. I'd go with Dallas as they've been more consistent lately (fantasy wise).

mile williams (tb) vs. green bay
boldin (ravens) vs. cin
vincent brown (chargers) vs. chicago
Boldin's obviously the best of the three, but he has the worst matchup. You still gotta start him though. I know Mike Williams has a solid matchup in that Tampa will be throwing all game long (and Green Bay gives up a lot of points to receivers), but I'm with ya in that I like Brown's upside. Williams has had other solid matchups this year and done nothing, and Freeman's been terrible, and Freeman's thumb has been bothering him. With Floyd out this week I'd go with Brown.
