If you want Frans to skate in blow past two guys and score than ask him why he isn't wearing a 91 on his back and making whole lot more money. He plays great, at the level expected and his paycheck earned. Pull your head up from the popcorn bowl.
Yep.

Nielsen is the least of the problems with this team. It's funny how most fans want him on their team. The amount of trade proposals he's thrown into has gotten ridiculous.

To sum him up as a shootout specialist is completely asinine.

If people want to start pointing fingers at players, it should be at the inept defense Snow failed to improve in the offseason.

3 things I've read here this year, that have made me wonder if these people actually watch the games:

1. Matt Martin is a scrub. hahahahaa.

2. JT is invisible at times.

3. Fransy is a shootout specialist.

Fransy is the perfect 3rd line center, it just so happens that he has to play on our 2nd line. Trading him is foolish especially if he wants to stay here. His defense, pk and shootout skill are very needed on the island.

I agree with all of the above. Especially the part about Frans, people calling for him to be traded are going to realize how much of a hole he leaves when he is gone.

1. Martin is not a scrub but some people here think he should be in the all-star game. He is someplace in the middle.

2. JT was invisible in parts of his rookie year and last year. You notice him on 9/10 of his shifts now so I do not understand why anyone would say that.

3. Frans IS a shootout specialist. He is also a good 3rd line center, its possible to be both. Frans is a bad 2nd line center. He does alot of good but belongs no place near a top PP unit or 2nd line center on a playoff team.

Martin should not be in the all-star game. Reason? The NHL could not afford to have Marty take out half the lineup.

I didn't want to have to bring this thread back, but since some people seem to be acting negatively towards Isles' management once again in some of these threads......well yeah, this is back. And the season hasn't even started yet.....
