No offense, but the people doing this don't really work for HF. They're writers for their specific teams and all have their own jobs and such. This has been asked to be done time and time again.

If I was still writing here I would've taken time to sit down and talk with the others to get it done. I can't say why it's not done yet, but give it time. The prospect camp could factor in and even pre-season.

It's just frustrating that all these small market teams have their sites updated constantly, but the New York Rangers board, one of the most popular teams out there, can't get their board updated. If these guys dont have time to do it, someone else should step up.

How about offering to do it yourself, rather than saying someone else should do it? As someone who maintains a Rangers website myself, I can tell you it takes a lot of time and effort and the only payback you get is the thank you e-mails from your readers (which are very much appreciated).

I understand that, i would definately do that, but i just do not have the inside look on things like i think some of these writers do. I wouldn' be able to properly rate our prospects without knowing the in's and out's of each player.

Very few people do have the inside look...perhaps including the writers here. All they do is try to track down all the information that is possible...watch the players they can when they get the chance and dig up reports on others where they need more information.

It's a lot of work...

yeah, some people think because the site is all pretty these writers are super insiders from espn

and honestly, i'd be more happy with a diehard ranger fan who knows his stuff and what i care about then a wishy washy insider that is only good for giving well insider info not that it isn't appreciated but on a site like this i'd most definitely want to read real ranger fans opinions

are you a diehard ranger fan or an insider?

I have no interest in writers that write about some flawed view of the Rangers but in the end put in some great tidbit about a player they are looking to trade for (the opposite of Larry Brooks; ESPN)

lol. I dont think I'd trust an Insider from ESPN to cover hockey, and i bet there are more out there that agree with me.

Barry Melrose is the only damm "insider" they have and he hates the Rangers because they wouldnt give him the head coaching job. All he does is make fun of our team and how we always screw up.

That's what I did with my Dawes artical a while back. I don't know if you were here yet, however.
