Then why not just send Strålman down now and call up a warm body for the road trip?

Unless someone gets injured, the lineup isn't going to be changed in anyway when the team is in the middle of a 7 game winning streak.

Woywitka has made some brutal plays out there. We haven't really paid for them yet, but when we get burned by one of his mistakes, he'll sit.

I really wouldnt call this a road trip..the islanders were technically a home game, then 3 days off to be at our training center before going to montreal for 1 day, then back atour training center for another 3 days before going to florida, then just hit washington on the way back home. Doesnt seem to bad, but then again nothing will seem as bad as the way we started, which i think will benefit us in the long run. That being said, I agree send stralman to hartford to gain some gain experience right now.

The habs were on a 4 game win streak when they came into MSG too...its the NHL, on any given night anytime can light it up, excep the CBJ lol.

They way to get him in might be as a 7th d-man at the expense of Deveaux or Christensen. Give him some shifts in place of Woywitka and maybe see how he looks on a PP shift or 2.

Deveax - (4) shifts for 3:31 against the Isles. I think the forward corps can be reduced to (11) guys without impact.
