oh heck yes. Its a shame money was tighter back then than it is now...

The Leafs started hot, but seem to have fallen back down to earth a bit. If we play as well tonight as we did against Washington we should win this one.

Just. Freakin. Win.

My question is with the Canadian tax code and the fact that Tennessee is a low-tax state, is the money in that contract actually a 'wash' and only the agent's fee is really at stake?

Good luck tonight

Most Leafs fans would prefer Predators winning when not playing Leafs.

5 players of regular lineup are out for Leafs, with 1 expected to return tonight (Connolly). Outside of that, no scheduled return for any of the remaining 4.

For Leafs, Kessel alone is holding the fort, and Lupul gets honorable mention. Our D is jokes, goaltending inconsistent, and we can't score goals.

But we've managed to be 0.5 for November so far.

Can't wait to watch Suter and Weber tonight. Should be fun game

PS: I watched the end of Caps game. Was amazing.

Maybe. I don't know. I know I was sitting in my current seats and it was MLK Day. That's about all I can remember.

I had brought a woman who is Canadian and a Leafs fan, but she'd never seen them play live. I didn't mind letting her see them, but I sure didn't want to be THAT generous. ;-)

Any idea if Rinne is starting? Checked LeftWingLock but there's no confirmation; as a degenerate gambler the Leafs travelling to Nashville after a tough loss, as well as losing some of their better players, seems like a safe bet. I know Lindback is pretty solid, I witnessed him first hand against the Sabres last year, but Rinne would make me feel a little more comfortable.

By the way, love the new Preds jerseys. Always been a fan of Predators hockey.

I would imagine Rinne gets the start. If Lindback plays a game during this homestand it will probably be against Columbus.

but then again, Trotz my feel comfortable with the team's ability to keep Kessel out of the game, so he may go ahead and throw Lindback in. You never really know with Trotz.

I was at that game It was my first Leafs game in years and at the rate the game was going, I was mentally kicking myself for choosing that game of all games to go to. We were on our 8 game losing streak, Nashville was playing strong hockey and we were getting our butts kicked up into the beginning of the second period. The lovely Lebda screwed up at the point and allowed a Preds player on a breakaway to score shorthanded and make the score 4-1 Preds in the second. For a team with a horrible PP, they sure kicked it into gear and made you guys pay for all of your penalty troubles. As a Leafs fan, I was over the moon happy especially since I was watching the comeback live but at the same time, being a Leafs, I'm well aware of what it must have felt like for the Preds fans watching that game.

Good luck guys... hope it's a 3 pter... in favour of TO .

If we don't play poorly, I expect a tight game.

I guess he's retracted from his 'spaling in the top6' aspirations.

Blast. Just remembered Play Station Network is down all day so I can't watch NHL GameCenter. Well, at least not on my TV, and I hate watching games on the computer. Off to find a happy hour I guess.....

The arena seems slightly empty tonight, judging from the broadcast. Attendence?

EDIT: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA, WELCOME BACK TO SMASHVILLE LOMBARDI

Bad goal on Scriven's part, but good on Erat to jump on the puck and rip it home. Pretty good game so far.
