I do like Jobke's hit-first mentality.

To add to that, he's looking effortless (or perhaps just lacking effort) but not lazy. He's getting everything done, like it only takes half an effort to get it done, and that's all he's doing.

Jobke with a bad step up, falls, but Russia can't catch the pass.

I feel the same way about Nesterov and Medvedec.

Good anticipation by Jobke, but a really bad pass.

Rattie with a nifty move to create that goal.

I personally think Bulmer looked that way while he was up here, its just the way he plays.

I don't know, when he was with the team, his skating looked desperate and intense. He might have drifted about away from the play, but you could see the effort in his skating with or to open pucks. Tonight I'm just not seeing that, but even at half speed he still has a step on the rest of the players.

Wow, Bunz is at the hospital for xrays after taking a stray puck to the head on the bench.

It just looks like Bulmer knows his role and isn't even trying to be a sniper.

Jobke more or less saving that from a goal with a nice blocked shot.

This tire commercial...

Every time when it starts with "my friend was supposed to come over" I am torn between thinking it's an "aunt flow" joke from Southpark or one of those "but he was killed by a drunk driver" type commercials.

TBH haven't been impressed by Jobke other than the aggressive physicality. if he picks it up mentally he could make it as a hard nose D but wouldn't hold out much hope for points or match-up skill.

He has been extremely defensive, and would definitely be a longer term project. He's nice and physical, and gets in front of the puck, but has made quite a few questionable decisions.
