I'll be there again that game too...same seats as this time. I couldn't stand up I was in disbelief. Haha. They were either yelling at you or the Henrique fan club ladies about 4 rows behind you.

That was all Henrique family. There was a **** ton of them, and he obliged nicely. I talked to his aunt and uncle before leaving. Did you see the little girl almost losing her hand to the zamboni? And there was a section of hotties for Henrique, there was more than one, so I assume he only gets two of the four.

I miss those Kovy celebrations from the 2nd half. I know that we won't be seeing those for a bit until games "matter" more, so to speak, but still, I loved those. Oh well, I shouldn't be complaining about goals!

Dude, it seemed like you has a great spot last night. Not just the seats specifically, but you got to see the Parise shortie, Kovy snipe, and the Clarkie breakaway, all up close. Unfortunately, you didn't get to see much of the Elias goal due to ****ing Sykora

The Devils are fiendishly delightful in fan attraction. Draft attractive dudes, have attractive females in arenas who don't have a chance with the dudes, or a little chance, I should say. Then, when they realize that, they come home with me.

It's all a part of their strategery.

Didn't see it at all, it was a delightful screen by Sykora, but it took me all of a half of a second to figure out what had happened, and besides, they skated right over to me at the boards to celebrate, I motioned my arms as if I was trying to get a hug too. I really wish the camera had caught that bit, because the people next to us were cracking up, even though their team was down 4-1 at that point.

But yeah, the other goals, they were fantasgreat views, so cool to see. The Clarkson break, as he's going in I yell "hey Enroth, he's going backhand" he mustn't have heard me

So, no suspension for Myers?

Good. restores my faith in the NHL, if only temporarily. That's suspendable in a Charmin Soft league only. Speaking of Charmin Soft...

Sit down your #1 dman for a game? Based on what? Rookie errors? And to what end? As if sitting his ass in the pressbox will add to his progress? Yep, I'll "deactivate" Larsson from my fantasy team for the next game.

Meanwhile in the real world, he will play...and play...and play. A lot. Perhaps his minutes may be modestly reduced (doubtful) but he will not be scratched.

Bet on it.

For there is no babying, and over-reactive manipulation of players in the Men's League.

Well, Volch got one for the exact same hit last year. There needs to be consistency, that's all.

Two wrongs do not make a right.

And life is often unfair, including with regard to consistency of calls. Play through it, move on. As a player and as a fan. That's my approach, at least.

Adding: I'll leave it to others to dwell, complain and go back to video replays.

Pierre commenting on our win last night and the team overall:

Quote:
I'm really impressed with what PD has done with the new jersey devils, completely different team than Devils teams we've seen in previous years. Much more aggressive, much more pace, it's a fun team to watch
Hradek: What do you make of young Henrique?

Pierre:

Quote:
Right now he's a poor man's adam oates and that's a high comparison...He moves the puck really well, he's comfortable playing with star players, obviously a two-time memorial cup winner with windsor and a silver medal winner in 2010 when they lost to the americans. He's a good player and always has been. Devils find a way of getting good players deeper in the draft. Talking to Parise, he really enjoys playing with Henrique.

Yup. They are so intense and make all of the fans get that much more into the game. I like the "serious" Kovy for now but can't wait for the other one to show up...

So true Trotts. Some fans overreact to isolated incidents. Two bad games from a 18/19 yr old playing 23 mins/game in the best league in the world does not mean that he needs to be scratched for a game. Especially considering that he has more or less been a rock for us so far this season and has provideed crisp breakout passes to our forwards. I do not object to lessening the load a little bit on him considering we shouldn't expect him to play so much (20/21 mins is fine).

Not like myers getting suspended helps us after the fact. more upset an obvious interference/headshot minor wasnt called. a pp wouldve helped especially at that pt in the game. refs blew the call but its not rly suspendable. borserline one game and in the end does nothing to help our team out whatsoever so im not gonna get myself all upset about the lack of suspension.

would however like to know what the refs were watching during that sequence tho.
