Ha! Love the Oduya pictures. I'm glad to see Johnny getting some love for a change. I've got an Oduya jersey AND shirt lol. I was a fan of his when he was with the Devils and was delighted when he came in the Kovy trade. My husband and I always joked that Johnny could grow a play off beard walking from the locker room to the ice.

Slater rocks a good one, too. I took the picture of him in the blue, I always thought he looked like either a porn star or Super Mario lol

I prefer this version of the quote by C.S. Lewis, which has the opposite meaning.

Quote:
“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”
― C.S. Lewis

I'm lucky enough to be able to go to the game tonight. I'm super pumped to see the Great 8 in person. He's been easily one of my favourites (if not my favourite) players since he came into the league.
That being said I hope he doesn't manage one point tonight!

Go Jets Go!

Edit: A little off topic but does anyone know where they sell Jets toques (if they do yet)?

Thing I like about Winnipeg is the home games start at 8:30 EDT so I can get everything finished and have enough time to see it from the start.

Off to the game, first time ever seeing Ovi cannot wait, this should be fun. Too bad Green is not playing, this is the only Caps game I was able to draft in my ticket draft, oh well...

GO JETS GO!!!!

Speaking of concourse shops, did MTS Centre finish all the concession renovations on the upper bowl? I see the square carpet at the entrances aren't done yet.

4 - 2 Jets tonight. Caps are still my fav team but I see momentum from the last game being brought over to this one. Caps are struggling as well.

Antro, Wellwood, Buri, Kane with goals

Hendricks, Knuble goals for Caps.

I'm firmly, positively, expect my predictions to be 110 % wrong.

I see it just like that, finishing with Wheeler having a breakaway on an empty net. Will he?

4 inches of snow in Saskatoon today, winter has arrived. And so have the Jets, based on their last game!

Super friggin excited to watch the Jets take on Ovechkin. If the guys play like they did on Monday and if they play for each other this will be a beauty. Ovie hasn't scored in 8 games, hope to see (hear) the MTS give it to him!

Good to hear the Jets are getting some love out in the Toontown, the City of Bridges!

I didn't realize Ovechkin has like 63 points in 40 games against us. I knew he kills us, but I thought Malkin and Crosby kills us the most.

Being in the division Ovi has many more opportunities to go nuts on us.
