I love Eklund's ginned up "Carter and a prospect for Bobby Ryan" rumor.

Sure, the Ducks would love that as it would give them a strong core down the center for years to come, but that move makes zero sense from the Jacket's perspective. I like Bobby Ryan, but he is about as streaky as they come. We'd give up a center for a wing so that we could, what, depend on Vermette on the first line again?

But hey, I needed a good laugh this morning.
