Is Orlov playing tonight? Very excited to finally see him play.

Lose and Boudreau is gone? Only thing probably keeping his job is the fact Green has been out.

History beckons tonight as Ovechkin looks to go pointless in a fifth straight game for the first time in his career.

Greens absence is just an excuse. No one is that important to a team (or at least no one should be that important to a team). Pens have played without certain someone for a while now and they aren't doing too bad. Also, we just got smoked by a team missing 6 or 7 regulars from the roster. If one player is that irreplaceable than there is truly something wrong with the whole mental makeup of this team.

What is the point of sitting Semin? Seriously. Has he played any worse than the rest of this team?

Coach Collector: "BRING OUT YOUR DEAD! BRING OUT YOUR DEAD!"

Caps' Fans: "Here's one" (takes 6 fans to throw him on the wagon)

Coach Collector: "That'll be ninepiece"

BB: "I'm not dead"

Coach Collector: "What?"

Caps Fans: "Nothing... there's your ninepiece"

BB: "I'm not dead"

Coach Collector: "Ere, he says he's not dead"

Caps Fans: "Yes he is"

BB: "I'm not"

Coach Collector: "He isn't"

Caps Fans: "Well, he will be very soon, his team is very ill"... points to X on calendar at Thanksgiving

BB: "The powerplay is getting better"

Caps Fans: "No its not... and you'll be stone cold dead in a moment"

Coach Collector: "Well, I can't take him like that. It's against NHL regulations"

BB: "I don't want to go on the cart"

Caps Fans: "Oh don't be such a fat baby"

Coach Collector: "I can't take him"

BB: "I feel fine"

Caps Fans: "Oh please, do us a favor... our GM is an idiot"

Coach Collector: "I can't"

Caps Fans: "Well can you hang around here for a couple of games? He won't be long"

Coach Collector: "I've promised to be in Calgary... they've lost nine already"

Caps Fans: "Well, when's your next round?

Coach Collector: "Thursday"

BB: "I think I'll go for a walk to Hagen Daz"

Caps Fans: "You're not fooling anyone, you know. Isn't there anything that you can do?"

BB: "I feel happy..."

The coach collector glances around the street, blows his whistle, and Ovi and Semin come out and WHACK him with their sticks....

Caps Fans: "Ah thank you very much"

Coach Collector: "Not at all. See you next season"

Caps Fans: "Right"

Am I the only one who thinks Semin will respond the wrong way to getting benched?

Brief report on 980 said Alzner commented that there was no line up posted for tonight just "show up ready to play". Maybe this could mark the end of BB's. With the possibility of Orlov playing this is going to be a very interesting game tonight.

How many more home games it takes Ovechkin to score a goal at home.

It really makes me wonder about the importance of the faceoff stat. IIRC last year it took half a season before Ovi potted a PPG at home. Maybe the fans tonight will follow Toronto's lead and simply cheer his name, and bring him to life.

No lineup for tonight? Probably all the games got canceled re: S1d and the risk of injury.

Nice on the "quest for knowledge edition", lol.

After the last two miserable games it should only get better..should that is. Also looking forward to see Orlov. Keeping expectations naturally modest. Should be easier to protect him a bit having the last change at home.

This sounds like a coach who has lost his room. No question about it. I bet the goalies even dislike the guy since the team isnt playing in front of them.

Fire him and bring in Muller.

I tell you what, I think they get shellacked tonight. If they do, that's pretty much it for Bruce.
