Terry Murray has been fired. Ol' Johnny boy is interim head coach.

Clarke was right about him in 97.

NJ traded Rod Pelley, Mark Fraser and a 7th round pick to Anaheim for Kurtis Foster and the eventual replacement for Brodeur (can't remember his name though).

Kurtis Foster isn't a great dman, but the Devils pp sure could use him.

Anaheim also needs to trade for Zack or Ben Smith to go on a line with Pelley and Smith-Pelly

I like how you think. I'd make an awful GM because I'd always be thinking of name combinations. "Okay, we have Zack Smith. Anyone named Wesson we can land?"

Yes, and I actually saw a Puck Daddy post call Stevens a "cerebral" coach. WTF is that about? The guy with no system, who wouldn't practice 6-on-5 or the shootout is a "cerebral" coach? Is there some definition of "cerebral" I'm not familiar with that fits Coach Cake Boss?

Me too. I did those things all the time when I played NHL '94 or Football Manager and such games.

It's a shame that Lappy is out, with Talbot on the team as well we could have gone hard after Maxim Lapierre and had
Maxime Talbot - Maxim Lapierre - Ian Laperrière
as our fourth line. The announcers would hate it whenever they were on the ice, almost as much as the opponents.

Well a team claimed Mittens off waivers haha Tampa is having a bad run of luck here. That contract was meant to prevent anyone from picking him up

Winnipeg get Mittens

After winning 5 straight games, how the hell did we drop from 8 to 10?

Quote:
The Flyers have won five straight, but losing the league's leading scorer, Claude Giroux, to, um, whiplash symptoms, is a tough hit for a team with a long list of walking wounded. Key Injuries: C Claude Giroux (whiplash), D Chris Pronger (knee).

Fantasy question here: how do the Flyers top 2 lines look with Giroux out?

Thank you sirs. I'm a habs fan so I'm not too familiar with your lineups either way. I think my 2nd place fantasy team is boned now.

Fantasy talk:
I made a blockbuster trade this year: Lidstrom, Vanek for Giroux and St. Louis.

Oh, and I also have Pronger and Markov and two IR spots. And I'm in first by a long margin. Ouch.

P.K. Subban with a horrible turnover leading to the islanders first goal of the night. He is worse than Carle believe it or not in that category.
