if Carter was here, scored a hatrick and we blew that lead people would be blaming Carter for the loss on this board.
I wonder if CBJ fans are doing the same.

I need to choose betwee n2 players on my pool , Hartnell and Pominville.Goals count for 2 pts.Is Hartnell playing over his head this year? Who is normally playing with? Do you think he'll keep up and reach 30 goals?

ID go hartnell he is very durable and if he stays with Giroux and JAgr good things will happen. Also PIM usually are a plus so that may help you as well

That's a tough one, but if it helps, you can see the line combinations here.

Both Richards and Gagne apparently shaken up tonight for LA. Richards got hit in the ear with a puck, but returned. So far, Gagne has been MIA for the entire 3rd period. Hopefully just equipment issues.

I don't watch ESPN ever. The vast majority of it is not real journalism anyway.

That said, people do watch ESPN and apparently the World's Leader in Sports has a message to the friends and families of professional athletes that have died in 2011. That message is that hockey does not count.

Needless to say, I'm pretty disgusted. Not a mention of any hockey players let alone the plane crash in Russia. It's impossible to believe they just forgot about them. These people were purposefully omitted.

Kings forward Simon Gagne missed the third period of last night’s 4-3 Kings win over Phoenix. L.A. Kings Insider’s Rich Hammond finds out from coach Darryl Sutter that Gagne will be evaluated further today but L.A. Times reporter Lisa Dillman says that the outlook isn’t so hot for the oft-injured winger.

“Sobering news. Looks like Simon Gagne is going to be out for awhile. Believed to be a head injury. Called upper-body injury in NHL talk.”

Gagne has had a history of concussion problems, among other ailments, in his NHL career and ever since departing Philadelphia he hasn’t been the 30-40 goal scorer of old. Should it be a concussion for Gagne, the Kings will need to make do without him for a bit as you’d imagine his recovery will be carefully monitored.

Speaking of the 'c' word, it looks like Shea Weber's price tag just got a tad lower.

I went on the anti-ESPN warpath after the plane crash and the lack of coverage it received, I don't think I need to again haha. I was just pissed off for like 3 days straight and wrote a couple angry e-mails. Best thing to do is just avoid everything ESPN as much as possible and tell your friends to do the same.

Florida Panthers game had a larger attendance than the Heat vs Celtics game last night. I like that a lot!

Anyone think this off season the Flyers could target Barret Jackman? I was wondering what he would command on the open market

I really hope the NBC sports network takes off and crushes ESPN. I watch about 10 hours of ESPN non-sports events over the past 10 years because it sucks soooooo bad. None of those ten hours was wasted on Sports Center.

It's terrible now. But I do think they're losing viewers. Each of the major 4 sports has it own network now, and all of them are pretty decent. They all show games, and the NFL is the most devastating to the competing stations. Plus hockey on NBC, NBA on TNT, no SEC games, etc. etc. They get 1 football game a week...non-flexed (they've been the worst games of the season this year), about 2 baseball games a week, a handful of college football games, most of which with smaller schools, and a couple basketball games a week too. Then they overload you with NCAA basketball to fill the void.
