Well, I do have a PS3 which is a blu-ray player... but my TV is not Full HD, only HD-ready and it's 22" so I might as well buy it on DVD and save a couple of bucks...

HD ready only means you need a source (such as a ps3) which will decode the HD material - it means it doesn't have a digital tuner is all. It is full HD in it's display.

Though at 22", that's tiny by widescreen tv standards... I'd not get any tv smaller than 32" in widescreen. Otherwise you're basically using a computer monitor for your tv.

That's the whole point, I bought it so I can also use it as a computer monitor later if I'm getting a desktop PC.

It has a digital tuner, though (both DVB-T and DVB-C).

The difference is that Full HD is 1920x1080 in resolution and HD-ready is 1376x768 IIRC.

Well... I say plan ahead anyway and get it on blu ray, so you don't have to replace it when you do get a larger tv!

Trust me... you want this on blu ray!

Well, I guess so.

Something to buy myself for christmas, then, in addition of the TV that I already bought. The problem is that I get about 650€ or so in salary in December 15th, and I have to repair my car from that salary in addition to buying christmas presents for my nephew, my sister and her husband (my godfather).

Well, we shall see. Tempted to get it, though.

What? No, I'm not. I'm from North Karelia, they are from Turku. I live in Espoo, Finland, they live in Minnesota and California.

Well... don't put yourself out in order to buy it... save for it and buy it when you can afford to do so.

Small world. I guess you never know.

Look for 'Band of brothers' on Youtube if you want an idea:

Are you related to Tom Hanks?
You're from the same country and it's a small world, so you never know. Nice logic.

You're comparing Finland (country of 5M) to America (a country of 300+M). Nice logic.

...it still doesn't mean that you thinking he could be related to Koivu because he's from Finland makes sense.
We have several Finns on this board, and none of them are related to Koivu. It's crazy I know.

True enough!

We don't have a Southern border and there are 20 million people (yes, four times as many in Finland) running around that have no legal right whatsoever to be here, but that is another thread.

Ok then... you're from Minnesota... are you related to Neal Broten?

Same logic... Minnesota is a state of 5m, Finland is a country of 5m. The question is just as ridiculous either way.

Mike Yeo would disapprove of the side-tracking of this thread. Shows lack of focus.

Back to the topic...

Mike Yeo. The guy has a surname with no consonants at all? I don't trust a guy with a surname like that.

Seriously, I'm sure we can all agree that he's been a terrific coach so far. Jack Adams frontrunner, if the Wild can keep it up?

Both Yeo and Dineen are ahead so far IMO.
