After watching and hearing of Braun, I was beginning to doubt the rumor of PED as well, so, it's nice to hear. Braun seems like a character type of guy and I hope he clears his name, if he is indeed innocent.

Even if MLB doesnt overturn it, its important how he sells his case to the public. I realize JC Romero is no Ryan Braun but JC managed to convince all of us that his suspension was total BS.

Not that either matter, I am sure Bonds is going to feel real bad about what he did chillin' in his mansion paying people to do or get anything he needs away from home. Also, the fact that we were supposed to believe Kobe and Vanessa were really a couple and will be crying with their hundreds of millions separated from one another. Sucks for the kids, though it is not like they would have grown up with any familiarity of normalcy anyway...

C'mon now, Richards is irrelevant here. Did you actually take offense to Simmer's statement? We have nothing to blame but LA's lack of love for hockey. The media here doesn't care about the Kings no matter how well they are playing. Local radio shows wouldn't dare talk about the Kings earlier in the season when we were still playing well. Instead, they kept talking about the NBA lockout.
And since you brought up Richards, I don't think the Flyers miss him that much as they quickly found a replacement in Claude Giroux. Meanwhile, we are still struggling with our RW depth. Simmer has more goals than any of our RWers. He already has 9 in 30 games. Looks like he'll get a new career high barring injuries. Oh, and Philly is sitting pretty on top of the Eastern Conference.
I don't take offense to his statement, it doesn't bother me at all. I didn't want him to be a permanent fixture on this team, it isn't bothersome. I know what he said is the truth.
