It is. I don't post much, I just tend to look for updates on FA and Trade deadlines.

You've got to take Dater for what he is, a giant clownshoe. Love reading his recaps when they play the Wild.

It's obvious he can't hide his bias.

Makes so much sense.

Really nice to see this. Dater's a modern day ironist, like Damien Cox or Will Rogers, near as I can tell.

I like point #11. The irony is just too much.

11. The biggest question Garth Snow must answer is, "Why aren't our prospects developing?" After Saturday's 6-0 home bludgeoning by the Bruins, Jack Capuano made his players watch the first period of that game by themselves -- no coaches present. It wasn't much better against Pittsburgh. That isn't the Islander team we saw finish last year.

I will say this; some of the worst fans I have encountered have been Canadian fans lately. They are extremely biased and always whining about something. They feel like they are the underdog of everything and if you talk bad about them, you're bashing them because they are Canadians.

Well since we're the 14th providence of Canada I guess that applies to us as well.

In other news I'm about to blow my brains out with a shotgun because my roommate has been playing the SAME DAMN TAYLOR SWIFT SONG 7 TIMES IN A ROW NOW!!!!!

Edit: Make that 8

Why is he listening to Taylor Swift??? Unless he's giving some hot blonde a massage, I don't see a reason for this. I would throw a book at him. Seriously.

Unfortunately he likes love music like that. I have to endure his singing nearly every day as well. I'm a rock and metal guy, **** that Taylor Swift and love song ****. He's from China so maybe that has something to do with it.

Haha, I like the turn of the thread.

I don't know what to think about NY Isles. Terrible drafting. Lots of busts. A lot like the Wild from a few years ago.

At least they got JT and couple intriguing prospects, so it's not all bad.

ESPN thinks the Wild's Justin Faulk is an honorable mention in the Calder race.

They have some decent players. Just don't gel right and their goaltending chocies are horrid as hell. If I was an isles fan I would be livid.

Consensus seems to be that the Wild are one of the biggest frauds out there.

Also, metrics have a very real and important place in baseball. Hockey? Um... Ya, no.
