i don't get the lol. he's leaving all of his best friends of the last 3 yrs. has to say goodbye to all of them, pack up and go to a new city. he wasn't expecting it at all. it's shocking and emotional for anyone in that situation.

Why 3 pages to discuss that trade lol?

Just thought about something... Cammalleri is a really good playoffs performer, what if the Flames trade him back at the deadline? They could get a very interesting return...

Well, we are on HF and they got a 2nd round pick!

Also, what have you done for me lately? Bad season for Cammalleri, so he's crap in Montreal. It's not because the team is going nowhere... But Sens HF fans weren't wiser not long ago... all Sens players (except maybe Karlsson and Alfie) were crap.

Come on! At least let the guy help you win the game first.

What will that pathetic franchise do next?!
Haven't you heard? They won 24 cups in my backyard

Bourque you might be ok with out but the prospect and pick for a team that is really lacking both is a risk.

He needs to play more and in different situations at key times in the AHL. Not just 1 game every 10, with sheltered minutes, in controllable shifts with Phoenix.

He needed the AHL in October, but injuries dictated everything that has and is happening to him now.
All I read about were the many opposing scoring chances he created himself.

You realize Bourque outscored Cammalleri in each of the last two seasons right? Bourque is in the same boat Cammalleri - having a terrible season. It's not like Cammalleri is a 1st liner and Bourque a 3rd liner.

In reality this deal costs the Habs a little bit of offense while increasing size, speed, two-way play, saving $3M and getting a 2nd round pick.

Camalleri is still the better player in this deal and has more to show. I guess we'll see, but wouldn't be surprised to see Bourque getting about 20-25 goals, while Camalleri goes back to his 30+ goal self.

I was a big fan of Subban's for a while, but holy ****... he has to be one of the biggest ****heads in the game. I know I'd have no respect for him as a teammate if I witnessed what happened last night.

Such a dirty slimy little clam.

Ference should have just stuck his ring finger up at him when Subban had that wide grin while in the box. Just another reason to laugh at Montreal for their circus season.

I think a key part to this deal is salary. In terms of cap hit, excluding this year, cap hit is 6M for Cammy and 3.3 for Borque. But in terms of real money it's 7M a year vs 3M.

So I guess we can safely remove every single Calgary Flame from the "Sellers" list for possible Trade Deadline deals?

Getting Cammy clearly means they're not rebuilding any time soon.

They wanna win with Iggy.

I swear some GMs in this league forget this isn't a 6 team league anymore and winning it all involves the accumulation of a certain level of value.
