3rd round value could be all it takes for Lee.

More than we're willing to give up for Hemsky.

Z.Smith, Condra and Daugavins continue to play the perfect 3rd line game. Michalek and Greening are pure beasts. Karlsson needs to shoot more, it's fine, he looked tired for some reason. Cowen is a hell of a player already.

Given the amount of I aint even mad avatars here, im sensing an unexpected amount of anger.

Sens, again, had their best period in the 3rd, improving as the game went on, almost giving us another cardiac kid finale to add to the lore.

Im mad, and it feels good to be mad about losing again

When you sit out like that mid-season, it takes awhile to get your fitness back.

Keep in mind he couldn't do ANY physical activity whatsoever.

I'd like to see Alfie take some more 'maintenance' days to stay fresh.

I wouldn't trade Lee. We've got three old guys who won't be part of this team for much longer and right now Mark Borowiecki is our only defense prospect who I'd consider close to being a sure thing. Trading Lee could leave us awfully thin on defense in the not too distant future.

I guess it's not too early to declare Vancouver the winners in the Sami Salo for Peter Schafer trade.

We'll just dip into UFA for an RD once Gonchar is off, if Lee gets shipped.

I would agree. Heck Carkner is missed to. I think having him back there will keep opposing forwards a little more honest coming into our zone. Lets be honest, Gonchar/Karlsson/Kuba ain't gonna scare anyone. At times we are completely pinned in our zone, some physical defensive presence would be nice.

He's used to 55 games a season where the games are spread out. He needs to be able to rest if management wants him to improve for the rest of the season.

Nah. He just has to learn to play defence on this ice.
He was twice on 2-on-1 rush against and both times instead of blocking a pass or a shot he just skated into Anderson causing a goal.
Things like this can be corrected, that's what they are working on I believe.

Rundblad should be back in the line-up for the 'burgh. We played a good game tonight probably deserved the win.

Loving that our team plays so well together. Very underestimated team in the league -- not just by other fans, but analysts too. Should make a push for the playoffs if things continue the way they have.

Karlsson didn't exactly have his best game tonight, but missed scoring opportunities > no scoring opportunities. He turned the puck over too often and didn't show enough dedication on the backcheck, but at least he created some offence.

He needs to be better than that if we're going to be a playoff-caliber team.
