I like DeBoer so far.
We haven't heard about any incidents to suggest he isn't a good coach for the Devils. The team is always competitive, it has a winning record, and the players are doing well.

Yep, there's definitely a sense that merit and effort get rewarded under DeBoer, and that's the way it should be. Lemaire was like that too. In that sense I think DeBoer is even better than Sutter, because Sutter obviously played favourites.

That is definitely the reason, but they do kinda go hand in glove.

DeBoer has every right to let players know that they can't make poor decisions and the best way to "make up for them" is not to go out and make a play, it's to avoid making mistakes and make the play to begin with.

Florida? Probably just to piss me (us) off. lol

Let`s agree to disagree then.

7:30 game - big whoop. Is everyone that new to the NHL they don't remember when all games used to start at 7:30 normally?

I like it - gives me time to actually get home, settle in and have dinner prior to getting drunk to endure Chico's linguistic pratfalls.

Devils have a chance to establish dominance when they take down the SE Division Leading Florida Panthers.

Well yes, to an extent. He's also one of the best coaches there's even been, he's great at buidling teams combined with meshing the right players and he's brought the right winning mentality to Manchester United.

Opinion of a Liverpool fan.

Because a professional athlete shouldn't be rattled by their coach from one mistake. These *****es got coddled to much now.

You can't conclude that they are soft from those comments, but it doesn't speak well to their mental toughness that they were rattled that much by a coach. And that's a good thing about Tedenby. I haven't heard him complain about DeBoer, or even Lemaire.

It's one thing to be hard on players and calm+nurturing in between (Lemaire - DeBoer), it's another to be constantly yelling and slamming doors to the point that it loses it's effectiveness (MacLean)

based on what the panthers are saying about deboer....every team has their own unique fit in terms of the right type of coach so i dont have a problem with any of their claims

I'm with RG here, coconut should not exist and if it went extinct I would not shed a tear. It is vile and ruins everything it touches. Nothing is worse (except for 7:30 start times here for some people) than when you bite into something that looks delicious on the outside only to have gross coconut on the inside that you immediately have to spit out.

Anyways, LGD and win one for Pete. Tedenby score a goal or four please.

You guys are rabid anti-coconites! Coconut is awesome. Deal with it. I do really hate these 7:30 starts though.
