Will the KINGS make QUICK work of the BLUES with a Road Win ?

We played right into their system like that, so they’re going to have great success. They had a good power play and we could be better on penalty kills. We got to make plays out there. They have guys who play their system really well and as gifted as they are, they’re a really good defensive team. We turned the puck over in the neutral zone and we paid for our mistakes."

Against a team like Detroit, that play over the top of you, you’ve got to bring everybody back, you’ve got to stay low. You’ve got to make those little handoff support plays. Tonight, it was one pass and we thought we were done. We were resting, when it should have been, `OK, I’ve got to stay involved, I’ve got to get it back and I maybe have to bring it out the other side.’ I thought we brought a lot of the issues on ourselves."

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

I say let Bernier start and if he wins, let him get another start.

Why not?

Like Mueller, he was cleared for contact but I think he's still a little ways off. Nice to see a lot of guys potentially coming back from concussions soon.

"There's no restrictions on him," Hitchcock said of Perron. "He's good to go to practice with the team. He's to be treated at practice as a normal player, but not cleared for games.
"It's the next step, and then, obviously, the final step is cleared to play. But we're not there yet, though."
When asked if he had any idea when Perron would return to the lineup, Hitchcock said: "I don't know. It's just the next step. You can't tell. Now your evaluation is in conditioning, how he feels after the ice sessions. He's been cleared to be a full participant at practice, which is nice news for him, nice news for the team."
Don't think so ?

I see, I could have sworn i read it somewhere that Perron would be ready by tomorrow, i suppose it was only for contact in practice.

Well at least we will see how the Kings respond to; yet again getting embarrassed. The Red Wings put on a clinic of how to play hockey for 60 min.

Lets see how the Kings respond.

Does anyone else think that Richardson should get another chance to play the 2nd line LW spot? Richardson to Richards back to Richardson to Richards to Richards I mean Brown. I could just hear Bob say it now.

Hey Puck U, just if you want http://www.firstrowsports.tv/sport/ice-hockey.html is really solid for streams, I added that one to basically your list for WPG GDT's.

Brett Sterling is back in the NHL? Interesting.

And nobody is commenting on it, but Westgarth Fraser, Moreau and Hunter over Lewis and Richardson? I have not seen the last two games, but is that not ridiculous? IDK, seems like the bottom 6 would really miss the speed those guys bring, at least one should be dressed, IMO.

Hoping Lokti gets a goal here. I'm liking that 2nd line. I see them clicking a lot better than any other 2nd line combo we had so far this year. Not sure how it is on the scoreboard, but it actually looks like they have their s*** together. Good things will happen for them.

Mr. Dustin Brown. Please just hit, go to corners when needed, make room for MR and Lokti, and drive to the net. And DO NOT do anything else, especially handling the puck much. Thank you.

Quick better not be starting again. He's been having sub par performances recently and playing Bernier would be good for both of them. So much for going with the hot hand, though.

Hopefully the Kings get secondary scoring tonight in Show Me State, especially the
3rd line. A 4th line offense will be a bonus.

Pretty sure the Blues are going to be PO'd at the 5-0 drubbing we handed them. They also have momentum. Anything but the "A" game tonight will result in a loss. They better bring it.
