Boys really have to want it to succeed against a team like the Oilers. They don't so far. Need to keep skating, and put some freaking pucks at the net. It's like watching NHL12 with all the picked off passes in the slot.

Amazing the type of team that can be built by sucking for 5 years.

They do the same thing every time on the PP, it's frustrating to watch, we shouldn't be out worked but we are

Oilers announcers giving total props to Nashville and our fans though. They were saying how we are just as quick to spot penalties as fans in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, etc....and they said if any Oilers fans want to go on a road trip they should go to Nashville. Pretty cool if nothing else.

We seriously need some fire from someone other than Tootoo and McGrattan. Can we play Blake tomorrow please?

Think I'll leave it there, these games are bound to happen in the course of the season. Team just came out flat and dug way too big a hole early.

Agreed. They've been pretty objective, praising both the Preds and of course the Oil.

and at least we break up the shutout, and of course the Oil score again.

edit: and again.

Would have been nice to have Eberle in gold tonight. Nice pick in Pikard, Poile.

When can we expect him to suit up for us?

It's not like our posts have been great chances. The Oilers are just toying with us.

We make it easy for them when we decide to chase them all over our D zone. Hate games like these. Makes it really, really hard to not jump off the cliff.

That's a bit petty. How many GMs should kick themselves for letting Weber slide? Rinne?

I was just thinking that it looks like having to work evenings this week was a blessing in disguise, but then I remembered that the game I picked for the ticket exchange was the March 20th one against the Oilers. Hopefully the team will have figured out how to play against them by then.
