Anybody meeting up before the game against the Isles on Saturday? I'll be there and I'm thinking I'll get into town early to get some drinking in beforehand.
well i've always liked to bake, but i've been trying to make some extra cash for the wedding lately, so i make up a little flyer with flavors i do, and have been posting it around. i've been sending samples to work with OFS, his mom, his brother, and I've already gotten people from my work ordering a few things for the holiday, thus the daily baking this week.

Haha I thought the premise was that you work in Queens so it'd be a quick commute?
Truth be told, we have an infinite variety of bars near me. You want hipsters? I can do hipsters. You want yuppy cocktails? I can do yuppy cocktails. Canadian theme bars? Dance parties? $4 for a Rolling Rock and shot of whiskey? Mini golf at a bar? Skee ball? Free pizza with every drink? These things are all possible. Brooklyn is magical. And we're ten minutes from Manhattan too. Just saying.

I have become very interested in cooking (which includes baking!) in the last year or so. It is truly a great way to bring a family even closer together. We are sort of on a schedule where we host many of our extended family for a weekend meal. My wife likes to bake and I am more into the savory side (specifically smoking & BBQ'ing meats) which makes for a nice combination.
I hope for you and OFS's sake you sell a boatload of cupcakes to help pay for your wedding!
