This is creepy as hell. Looking at where SBP is and Hotels in relation I would assume the Hotel besside Kanata Centrum. Just don't be a creep.

I know for a fact that visiting teams used to stay there. Not all of them, but it happened. A few years back it's also where the Sens would send callups, I'm not sure if thats the case anymore but when the Sens went to the finals all the bingo guys called up stayed there.

I know where Boston stays because a friend did part time private security for them and other teams. He's not into hockey at all so was the perfect choice. Chara was impressed with his physique and talked exercise, food etc.. with him for a while one night. He didn't know who Chara was nor that he previously played for Ottawa. All he knew was that this player was a full head and more above all the other players and was the friendliest of them all. It wouldn't be proper for me to divulge where they stay.

It's required by the CBA for them to stay in a 5 star hotel unless otherwise agreed upon, IIRC.

Then again, when I read the CBA I was 15 and had no idea what the hell they were talking about (SO CONFUSING).

Does Ottawa have a 5 star?

Yup. Cannot confirm that 100% of teams do but quite a few do go there.

It's always the Brookstreet except for the rare occasion that the team prefers the Chateau Cartier (I know the Devils stay there as Lamorello prefers it).

I see visiting team players all the time there when I go for my afternoon coffee at the Starbucks inside.

It's not a five-star hotel ... I think the reason it misses out is because of something stupid like a lack of conference space.

Chateau Laurier.

Most at Brookstreet, some at Chateau Laurier.

They did for sure at one point, and it still is where Ottawa sends all the new kids/call ups when they are staying in Ottawa. My brother works there and absolutely loves to regale me with stories of which players are nice/jerks/etc. :|

before moving to Kanata, visiting teams used to stay at Westin. one year when i was a kid, we went to Ottawa for march break. They day we arrived, the Buffalo Sabres were leaving, the Pens showed up the next day (Jagr refused to give me an autograph. *****) and the Caps arrived just as we were leaving. It was soo cool. Weird Al was staying in the penthouse at the time too.

The Ducks stayed in the Chateau Cartier for the finals. I was driving on the Champlain bridge and their bus with Police escort was heading home after game four.

Trying to be clever and it fails.. the Chateau CARTIER is on the Quebec side and teams do stay there.
