The line matching will be interesting. My guess is DeBoer will use the Elias line against their top unit.

What I was pointing at is the fact BC is his biggest fan around here and slammer has AH sig sooner than him. I`m well aware of the fact he asked for it and BC hasn`t (yet) afaik.

That's why I kind of hope we do. Seeing the reactions on here after a loss is priceless. I used to do that, but now, it's just a game to me.

Whether it was replacing Mason with Sanford, trading Russell for Nikitin (which allowed the defensive pairs to be more balanced), Carter returning from his broken foot and getting back up to game speed, the coaching staff shifting to a more conservative defensive system, or a combination of all of these; the team has looked significantly better over the last week or so.

I was at the game versus Calgary on Monday. Johansen is going to be a good one. He seems to be doing many of the "little things" right that coaches harp on. He uses his body pretty well. He's got a good shot. I can't wait for him to put about 20 more pounds on his frame (which he probably will over the next couple of years).

The combo of Prospal - Carter - Nash can be pretty good. Honestly, any line that Prospal has ended up on seems to be the biggest offensive threat. Carter has 3 goals in the last 2 games. Umberger hasn't been an offensive threat at all this season. Letestu and Johansen can score. Vermette has been looking better over the last few games but overall he and Umberger have been huge disappointments in the scoring department this season.

Actually, someone posted a stat, I can't remember exactly where I saw it, but 19 Jackets players have had goals this season. That was the highest number of players of any team in the league.

As fans, we aren't convinced that the team we've seen over the last 3 games (SO loss to Boston, OT win in Nashville, win versus Calgary) is the real deal or not. We'll just have to wait and see.

Fayne Tallinder with Elias's line, something along that. He may try to sneak Carter or Henrique against the top line in the offensive zone or something like that.

Weren't peeps saying how Dineen outcoached him after the panthers started to stretch pass? If we lose, I'm excited to see how this place is

So far this season DeBoer has been using the Elias line against the other team's top line as much as possible. When we are away you see a lot of mismatches though. I've seen the other team's top line out against our 3rd or 4th line a lot. Our team is very bad at line changes.

He's a 1st round pick and can dangle like no other waterbugg in the league. Pretty obvious, wouldn't you say

Ya, watching our fourth line get hemmed in by the opposing top line is not fun, and it happens far too often.

I don't really care at this point. Let him learn the defensive zone better. His offense is already developed, he just needs to be better defensively so that he can be relied on for heavier minutes.

I just can't wait until Zajac gets back. We will be able to roll 4 lines and the forwards won't be as tired.

Parise-Zajac-Kovy
Sykora-Elias-Zubrus
Palmieri/Tedenby-Henrique-Clarkson
Palmieri/Tedenby-Carter-Boulton/Janssen/Mills/Sesito
(Personally I would prefer Boulton or Mills)
