NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

Pretty damned good for being made when you're tired! I hope the Jets can take advantage of the fact that the Caps are struggling right now and pull out the 4th win in a row! Keep it going Jets!

Oh, and first!

Edit: Bah, took too long to type that out, Second then!

This is going to be a tough game for the Jets to win, but I think they can pull it off. 4-3 Jets in a shootout.

4-2 Jets.

The team needs to stroke Johny O's stache for luck in order to guarantee victory.

2-1 us.

I recall watching a Thrash/Caps game on Thanks giving eve back on Nov 22nd 2006 that ended with the majority of both the teams in the box or thrown out and cap'n Mellanby actually going after somebody.Vishnevskis(sp?) beak was leaking badly thanks to Brashears left hooks.Pretty much three consecutive line brawls in a row.Glen Hanlon gave us the "chicken dance" when calling out Bob Hartley.

The best part was,i got to watch it all over again on the replay thursday morning while eating turkey!!!!

Heres to hoping for a lively one. We're do for some line brawl/game misconducts!!!

Nice GDT as always Holden!

This one should no doubt be a dandy! I'm pretty sure the Caps will want to hand us a loss for last weeks game.

We've had a few days off here, hope the Jets aren't rusty and come out flyin!

nice GDT Holden

I have a bad feeling about this road trip. Washington coming off a home win feels like they might be due to turn it around. Carolina is going again, and Boston is the hottest team in the NHL. this road trip will be yet another big test and I hope we don't take a step back.

I would be really Happy with 1-1-1

Not to jinx him, but Pavelec has been on fire against Washington for a while, hope he keeps it up. Our offense has been rolling lately, so I'm hoping for a great game from us!

Can't wait for the game tonight! I'll have to watch it on delay as I have my own game tonight, but it sure seems like a long time since our last game.

It's tough to gauge this game tonight. The Capitals will not struggle all year long. At some point they will break out of their funk, they just have too much talent not to. The question is when? Whatever team is playing them that night will be up against it for sure.

As long as we see the same level of effort and intensity that we've had for the last 3 games (minus the 3rd period from Saturday), I will be happy.

It would be great to see another good game from Little and Wheeler though. It would be nice to get those guys going.

As a Rangers/Jets fan, I've got a lot of hockey to watch in the next three days. Both teams play 3 out of the next 4!

For anyone who wants to watch the game at a bar, Tavern United locations in the city have a deal to get a free order of wings when you buy a beer. I'll be at the mcphillips one, probably in a bomber jersey, lol.

http://tavernunited.com/featured-pro...entry_id=14035

Sorry if this breaks any board rules for company promotion or anything, but I don't work for them, just want the bar packed to watch the game, cuz it's more fun that way!

Caps broke out against the Yotes and won 4-3 after being down 2-0 to start the game.

I think it's going to be a tough game, especially in their arena

3-2 (OT) Jets

I wish they'd just play every second day. Then everyday I can either look forward to the game that night or discuss the previous game.

I don't know that Washington has turned the corner yet. Semin may be motivated after being benched but that doesn't mean he'll be effective. That team, for all its talent, still isn't playing a decent system. With limited powerplays and odd-man rushes the Capitals are ineffective right now. If the Jets stay disciplined, it's a very winnable game.

I haven't followed Carolina enough to comment on that one. Boston will definitely be a test for the Jets.
