Getting the special edition with the gold wiimote and the soundtrack

Wish they'd make a gold Nunchuk for it too though

This has been a sad year for my Wii. Haven't gotten a new Wii game in many months. I think the last one I got was de Blob 2. It's been mostly a Netflix machine for a while.

Really looking forward to Skyward Sword. Finally something. And probably the final major title on the Wii, looks like.

Looking forward to this but I'll probably let my wife or someone get it for me as a Christmas present. Took me 5 years to beat Twilight Princess, I can wait an extra month for this one.

Same. Gobs of netflix, not much else. The next time it gets any decent gameplay will probably be as games get heavily discounted and I pick up a few titles I haven't grabbed because of money.

Have to say I'm looking forward to Kirby, too.

I guess I'll also be diggin up the Wii.

The problem is that Skyrim comes out 9 days before, so maybe Zelda will have to wait a few weeks.

I'm wondering if Shoppers Drug Mart will carry it, as they have a small selection of Nintendo's standard Wii games. I have $70 on shoppers points I've been saving up for Skyward Sword.

Been looking forward to this for some time. The first and only true Wii Zelda game.

I'll get it eventually but with Uncharted 3 and Skryim coming before it, I doubt I'll have it in my hands until the new year.

It doesn't mean we'll never get around to Zelda, it just means she's not a priority of ours, especially since Skyrim has dragons. MOTHER****ING DRAGONS!!

ONM gave it the highest score they've ever given. 98%. Claimed it was 35+ hours long, called it the best Zelda game ever.

Word is that Edge is giving it a 10/10. It would become only the 14th game (2nd Zelda, with Ocarina being the other) to ever get that score from them.

Wow, definitely have to pick this one up!

Here's the MetaCritic Link:

There's nothing there yet but definitely something to keep an eye on.

The first few reviews are starting to come out from UK magazines, a 98 score from the Official Nintendo Magazine and 100 from Edge. Looks like they may have just delivered on creating the best Zelda game yet.

There's nothing quite like a Legend of Zelda game. It's pretty much the only reason I have a Wii. I don't know if anything can top Ocarina of Time (best game of all time IMO), but I can be assured that this one will be another home run.

"It's not something we say lightly, but the Zelda series really has never been this good...[Skyward Sword is the] best Zelda game ever made."

Does anyone have any idea what the make-up of the world will be? I know that the skyworld is fairly big and there are many portals that you can use to go down to the world below, but is the world below fairly expansive?

I haven't heard anything, but I'd imagine it's more along the lines of Twilight Princess than Ocarina of Time. This isn't an Elder Scrolls game but I'd imagine it should be fairly large for a Zelda game.
