So, why do people get so bitt hurt over being killed by at guy with a shot gun? I just got banned from three separate servers for using the m10.

Haven't played in like 4 months, came back to day and apparently the new patch introduced a ton of bugs. BF3 has crashed three times on me so far in a few hours.

I hate rented servers. All these dumb games with 700 tickets, or personal rules like 1000 tickets no arming the mcom till down to 50 tickets or some other gay ****. Also hate when certain guns or weapons are banned

PC has this problem big time.

There isn't a populated US server that has 64 players on the good rush maps. There's one, but no vehicles or mortar is allowed. Zero admins.

Check out this hacker I was playing against

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3...ats/520039946/

His only other friend is a hacker as well

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3...ats/379243627/

I reported their pages and of course, EA being EA, they won't look into it. Because 78% accuracy is so legit.

The official servers are gone. I'm sure EA said we have to pay for DLC or the online pass or something because the servers aren't free. Well now they're gone.

That is lame a hell. If we want a good server, they're forcing us to rent one. Bull ****ing ****.

EA doesn't care about the players. Never have. DICE originally intended for all the DLC to be free, but EA quickly changed that. All they want is for you guys to hang on to the game long enough to buy the next 3 DLCs and then they're done with you.

That's nothing. Check out this guy I play with who hacks while streaming with the UI off

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3...ats/175404722/

914 hours.

Then there's this gem, who is #4 in the world for ace squad. He used to be my squadmate and in my platoon. We'd play together on teamspeak with a couple other high end players and usually empty a server. But he is a serious no-life rager. He will leave the game if he is doing worse than 2:1. He literally gets emotionally shook up if he does poorly in the game to the point where he has to rage quit and take a break.

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3...ats/350977571/

Needless to say playing together didn't last long. He wasn't good enough to hang with me score wise so he had to switch to TDM in order to catch me. I only play full length rush rounds.

Battlefield 2 just had a flat out better community. Real shame.

I got banned for base camping. I figure capturing Point A on Damavand Peak is considered base camping.

Have you tried looking outside the United States?

Knew a few good UK, Swedish, and Japanese servers back in the day

Pretty ridiculous how there's a whole bunch of rented servers and only a few official servers. The amount of tickets people put is outrageous. Sure it's good for unlocking weapons/vehicles but it's pretty near impossible to win as a defender unless your playing with a group that is determined to win and an opposing team that is not trying to arm the MCOM stations.

Agreed. I'd rather have a ton of official servers to complement a ton of rentals, but I guess EA's pushing for some extra dough.

It's the rules that people impose on their servers that truly irritate me. There's naught but babies on those servers.

It's something you learn to deal with in online play. If you played as much BF2 as I did, you saw a lot of rules. No cursing! No profanity! No caps! No camping, no killing people with supply drops, no "fighting commander"...

I've been keen on acquiring this game but given recent reviews in this very thread, I am starting to get scared.

I think you've missed you shot to have a good time with the game. The campaign is meh at best. I played it through once and tried to play it a second time and was like this is just meh so why bother. As for the recent online stuff I don't know about it because I stopped playing online back in Jan or Feb but it looks like the days of all out free fun with the game are all but over.

The games were never about single player

I spoke to an associate of mine and he said there were no problems with the game other than the people who complained because you can't beep the horn in a jeep. I'll have to talk to him some more about it later
