Not happy for Lebron but I would love to talk about something else. I hate the NBA.

Cowherd was too busy spooning with Tom Brady to be available.

He made up for it this morning, though. He actually had (and recited) a variant on the Pledge of Allegiance directed towards LeBron, Miami, and the NBA.

I wish I was making that up.

What an incredible waste of protoplasm.

I'd rather listen to very own Citgo guys, and that's punishment worse than weatherboarding.

Colin Cowherd?

Thank god I finally got Sirius with my car last year. I don't think I've listened to ESPN radio once since I drove off the lot. It's either on the ipod, NHL network or Hair Nation.

Now I'm in this horrible position where I really can not support either team in the final. I am not even going to watch it, for the first time in forever

But you are right about not playing the Italians. I had a bad feeling going into the match that I would not have had if they were playing any of the other top teams.

Jared Sullinger is the poster child as to why a sure lottery pick shouldn't wait. I wish him well in Boston but the $ he lost, wow!

wouldn't his back issue have been revealed if he left after his freshman year anyway?

If the back injury is the biggest reason why he dropped, and I think it is, it wouldn't have a big difference.

I don't recall him being hurt with back problems his freshman year-maybe it would have been discovered. Secondly he didn't overly impress this past season. His stats were pretty static and he was pretty much outplayed by other big physical guys. So even without the injury I think his stock would have fallen; not to 21 though.

In any case, if you are a projected lottery pick, I think you should take the money and run. Too many things can go wrong and not a whole lot you can do to improve your stats if you were that highly regarded anyway.

After watching his game the last two seasons, I agree. Heck of a player, but I just don't see where he fits at the next level. He's not big enough to be traditional center, he's not in the "new Age" PF role (lanky, great shooter from anywhere), I suspect he'd top out as a 6-15 minute a night role player off the bench. The game that solidified it for me was the sweet sixteen game last year vs. Kentucky. I forget the big kid's name on Kentucky, but he was just physically dominating Sullinger thoroughout almost the whole game. I think he'd be talked about as a major bust in a few seasons if he did come out last year because he'd be a much higher pick.

Spain dismantles Italy today in the final. Don't like either team, but it was still nice to see the team that sent Germany home early get embarrassed

Spain really kicked Italy in the mouth. Congrats to them for winning a third major championship in a row and for only giving up one goal in the entire tourney.

I don't like it when the Wimbledon crowd get behind one player so decisively as they are behind Federer today.

Agree but I can't say I'm not pleased with the outcome of the match. I just have never warmed to Djokovic.

Can't be any worse than when Borg and McEnroe played each other some 30 years ago. When McEnroe beat Borg in '81 you could have heard a pin drop on Centre Court after the final point.

I'd spoon Cowherd. And by 'spoon' I mean stab him in the eye with a spoon.
