At least one of those Right-wingers is going to have to learn how to play on the left side!

I wonder where Fukufuji and Marsters will end up if they are signed?

They can't send them both there. They are only allowed 1 goaltender spot in Reading.

That's one heck of an offensive group going to Manchester... That would be very fun to watch.

I'm actually envious of those hockey fans living in Manchester.

Barney has played LW with Manchester. Brown, in the few games he played last year, played a few games on the left. Manchester also signed Giuliano, and he's a LW.

Clarke-Cammalleri-Kostopoulos
Brown-Ryan-Kanko
Barney-Lehoux-Hogeboom

Or something like that.

Barney's status never fails to confuse me. Wouldn't he have to clear waivers in order to be sent down?

I am not an expert of the old CBA, but I think the years out of hockey keep him off waivers

For the NHL teams...no! The AHL will go on as planned. They should be starting their camps up in a couple of weeks here.

I think Flinn, Smyth, and Schmidt are likely headed to Manchester as well, so things will be a bit competitive in camp especially if Connor James and a few others from the Rookie tournament are invited...

Cool. I'm a hockey fan from Manchester checking in on the Kings board to see who was coming. Looks like a good group. The one perk to this lockout will be the improved rosters in the minors.

I'm hoping they're going to televise a lot more AHL games than they did last year.

Actually, we get a bunch telivised on comcast. I had heard at LGK that someone was taping games and sending copies out west by request.........

Until now we were sort of behind the curve. Portland, Washington's affiliate and a divisional rival, got significantly stronger because of the Caps' reinforcements...Binghamton ( Ottawa )and Cincy ( Anaheim ) as well, to name a few.

I don't know if this means that they absolutely will be playing in Manchester, but atleast we're getting a little closer to it. I figured that we'd never see Brown in a Monarchs uniform for anything other than a rehab stint.

If they do televise games again on Comcast this season, won't they be available on "On Demand" as well? I know the AA-baseball games are.

That'd be pretty good if someone wants to tape them, but can't do it during the original broadcast.

Also, a few LGKers were able to watch a game between Manchester and Bridgeport last season via Comcast's website.

Why did Barney miss three full seasons after his OHL career???

He seems like a very promising player btw

He had a career-threatening back injury that he's still recovering from.
