How did you tell to Washington Capitals that your move to DC was postponed?
I didn't say anything to them.
Did the Americans learn it from the newspapers?
I have no idea. And now it kind of hurts that I was not even invited to a summer development camp.
Would you go?
I very much wanted it. Just curious to see again how things are there. But I was not invited. Even if I could not go, it still would be nice to receive invitation. I don't know if they give up on me or not, but it is a bit strange...

Is NHL still a mystery for you?
Totally.
What the hell is this, lol. Fire everybody.. then set them on fire, and dont call 911 -- "Eh, they'll come over on their own eventually if they really care about saving people, anyway it's too much work to dial 3 digits".

Its a development camp. I hardly believe there is any lost interest in him. I doubt GMGM is thinking RNH or Brayden Schenn are better prospects then him, especially Schenn...
Maybe sk8 will have to answer this, but can't they sign him to a ELC right now and let it slide for the next couple years? It seems the smart thing to do is play the 5 year ELC card. Another question for sk8 is if its a 2 year ELC if it stays at 3 in 2 years and thats why they aren't signing him?
BTW, Kuznetsov according to the KHL website is 85 KG or 187 lbs. I wish he was closer to 200. Hopefully he has no injuries that can stunt growth, because he still has time to grow at the age of 20.

Seriously why would Kuznetsov should even come over from both the player AND the capitals side of things. Two more seasons away. I could say maybe a case next off season but even then....blah. I'm not nearly as bullish on Kuznetsov as other are here. Fine with him percolating in the wine rack. Not like he has much trade value so might as well hold on to him and see if pans out.
That's an interesting interpretation of that article, as you completely ignore Kuz's reaction to the translated article:
Quote:
As for Kuznetsov, he went to Twitter to air his feelings about the newspaper interview, saying [translated]: “AllHockey again posted only a part of my interview and made me look like an idiot!!! From now on I do not interact with the media.”
Besides, even if the original article was 100% true, I blame Caps management for lack of communication. They should have someone in touch with Kuz and/or his agent on a weekly basis. It's not hard. Send an email, make a call, whatever. Part of managing assets in this business is communication with professional athletes who can be sensitive and/or stupid.
doing pushups after scoring an EN goal in the KHL. come on dude act like youve scored a goal before and after a EN is embarrassing
It's like that time in beer league when I totally shanked a shot off 2 defenders and the goalie before it barely trickled about an inch past the line and I did the "Z" for Zorro sword celebration.

Tell me about it... a few days ago he again promised to not to talk to the sports print media again for the 2nd year in a row because they apparently misquoted him again...the guy just seeks out conflict and drama. I doubt he ever steps foot in an NHL a rink. push ups after scoring into an empty net? High 5s all around and then the shooting of an arrow... this dude will get pummeled in the NHL.
