Agreed. Can't hurt to talk. Above all, the agent (Grossman) needs to be pumping the NHL's tires a ton. He's the guy that stands to really win/lose based on the decision, just as does the Russian agent. Campaign hard.

All of this might be happening; we don't really know for certain. Hopefully, that's going on to the extent that it's possible.

Don't know how much important that could be for you guys, just saw this thread about Kuznetcov.
http://news.sport-express.ru/2012-02-25/495664/

In a few words - the negotiations with young talent is reach a deadlock. The natives is angry about that situation. People don't believe that that Tractor is capable to keep him in squad.

Maybe it sounds awful for someone, for my citizens for sure it does, but for me it's like a great opportunity to see the one of the must talented young player around the whole world in your team.

P.S. whatever you have to understood - this is would be the last generation of the Russian or European players who really want to play exactly in NHL. Money rule the world and the KHL made the great expansion. ^_^

I think we'll see more coming over to play juniors, whether it be the CHL or USHL.

I really don't want him to stay in the KHL... i mean, i want him out of there.

Can be so much more once he leaves that league (not trying to say anything bad about it, but reading articles, it doesn't seem like the safest and most ideal league in the world...)

Exactly. KHL is the social project. Putin even keep a look at league. Every next year our government will put in KHL more and more money. This is the question of time when the popularity our league equalize with yours. One thing there that make a grate difference between KHL and NHL and gives a gorgeous opportunity to take a lead role in Europe - it's a time. Your matches started when in Europe is a deep night. No chance for commercial and mass media to grow and get more fans. This is deniable. You have to understand.

Still seems like a vast difference in the quality of life here vs there, not to mention contracts not being guaranteed is a monster issue.

And, the NHL is hands down the best league in the world, so unless Russians suddenly don't care about playing the best of the best, I don't see it being a major issue.

Now it's the potential third line guys that stay over there, it may soon get to the point where second line guys stay

That hit didn't look bad. Looked like he was a soccer player trying to get someone a red card.

well, considering so far at the same age Kuznetsov has been on par with Semin as for softness and defensive capabilities while definitely ahead offensively, him being able to replace Semin is basically the least you can expect.

What are you basing this off? He doesn't do it all the time, but he really plays like Kesler when the puck is going the other way, goes full flight to molest the puck carrier.

Sounds like the kid and a bunch of other KHL'ers don't trust the Russian doctors one bit. Caps/NHL should score some bonus point there.
