How long does Tropp stay up?

We all can probably agree that Corey Tropp is a hell of a kid.

The guy had 4 hits yesterday, but what stood out to me was his 4 blocked shots.

The kid can play, and I hope he develops into a very solid 4th line player in the future.

So my question is, how long does Tropp stay up?

Do they send down Ellis before him?

What are your thoughts on Tropp so far?

I've liked what I've seen so far. I would keep him up over Ellis in a heartbeat.

He's played his way into the lineup. The first one sent down should be Ellis.

When we're all healthy...man, Tropp is making it a tough decision. Part of me wants him to go back to Rochester and continue working on his offensive game, but he's playing his role and hasn't been a liability at all.

I defer answering this question until we get forwards back in the lineup.

Ellis would be exposed to waivers. Tropp would not.

That means Tropp will go down before Ellis.

Tropp has been playing well enough, and bringing enough of a necessary element, that you risk it IMHO.

Like I stated when he was first called up, he should be taking Kaleta's spot in the lineup permanently.

There has to be a way to keep both players in the lineup. I like having players that have some sort of balls in how they play, to be the polar opposite of the squishy-as-Big-Buff's-belly nature of the rest of the team.

Tropp probably gets sent back down when Ennis or McMuscle comes back.

Think he is definitely here as long as Boyes is out... He should not be sent down before Ellis, would be a shame if he does.

Yep. Most good teams don't have just one or two guys who play a high-energy, physical game. Buffalo could use the infusion and continue to shift the culture of their team from nearly all finesse to something harder.

Disagree. No need to lose a roster player for no reason when you don't have to.

I don't think we should send this kid down. He has been a breath of fresh air and his work ethic really seems contagious.

Tropp, going through the NCAA system and a year on our farm, is ready to be a regular NHL'er. His play has proven that.

I'd say now is a good time to start making some moves - albeit minor ones. Especially if you're looking for a culture change.
