Put the kids back together!

Can someone explain to me why Trotz and company broke up the Smith-Horny-Wilson line? They seemed to be clicking along quite nicely then *poof* they were split up. Seems to me this happened about the same time we turned up the suck knob.

I DO think he now needs to get that line back together, but the reason he has Horns-Legwand-Wilson together is because they were one of the top lines in the league before Legwand's injury. I do agree, however, that it's time to switch out Legwand for Smith and move Fisher or SK down a line as well.

I agree, I'd like to see that line back together and put out as our #1 line, at least for a game or two to see if it's still clicking.

However, the break up occurred when Legwand came back. I wonder if perhaps Trotz thinks it will cause dissension in the locker room if he demotes the more senior guys. One would think though that winning would trump any hurt feelings though.
