Yeah let's blame every bad thing on Sam, not the fact Ovy, one of the best scorers in the game, was 1 on 1 with Girardi and used him as a screen.

I'm not even mad at Lundqvist for that goal, holy hell what a cannon of a shot.

I don't like the defensive lapses, but man this is an entertaining end to end game

Probably for the same reason he never gets called for every hit he throws being charging.

Anyone notice how many screw ups we had on that sequence?

1) Anisimov with the slide it through the 5 hole move, hardly works.

2) Stepan, ever hear of a one timer?? You gave the goalie a chance to reset.

3) Girardi letting Ovy skate all the way up and then take a great shot with Henrik screened.

Cmon boys.

I think i figured it out.

Ranger fans over the past few seasons are so used to seeing a team so offensively inept. Due to this, they wonder why hank can't play like all the other goalies who stop every limp handed wrist shots from 45ft away right into the crest.

That, or they just don't watch other teams.

Seriously. It's like everyone has forgotten that Ovechkin is one of the best players in the world. One "down" year (where he still scored 30 goals and 85 points) and a slow start to this season doesn't mean he's any less dangerous.

Nope, the song is called One of a Kind. It used to be Rob Van Dam's entrance song when he was in the WWE.

what has mitchell done? forchecked well. dug into the corners. he had a huge part in boyle's very important goal. all things MZA has proven he doesn't do.

this isn't a league where you can come in and be effective with average skills and below average physical ability. hagelin has shown that he has a similar skillset to MZA but with the size and quickness you need to be effective in 5 on 5 hockey.

That was a bar down snipe through a defender, what do you want Hank to do? Vintage Ovechkin.

Anyway, the Rangers have a great team this year. Richards was a boss pickup. And Girardi impresses me every time we play.

Hank too.
