As much as I would like to see Burmi with more skilled linemates, at least having him with Slater and Glass will allow him more minutes than with guys like Jaffray.

I see something like this as a means to get Burmi more ice as opposed to a reason to break up the GST line. Even saying that though, Thorburn has been less than stellar at ES. He's been great on the PK, but he needs to improve at 5 on 5 or he is reducing the amount of time Noel can get that line out there.

The answer is in your question. It became an industry.

I'll be there. My family used to go to the first Thrashers home game after Thanksgiving, every year since 2001. We're carrying on the tradition with a road trip...16 hours in the car listening to my parents yell at each other better be worth it.

Go Jets!

The Hains has a really bad cut on his shin and couldn't skate with it.

He's having Sami Salo luck this year. Hopefully we can skip the ruptured testicle injury.

Thanks for the update, Lynk.

Have you ever thought of becoming the Jets official beat writer?

We've certainly had some bad luck injury wise thus far. Hainsey has only missed 9 games the last 5 years. Enstrom has only missed 10 games in the last 4 years, all during last season. But, we're getting some guys stepping up and it's keeping us in the playoff hunt. Not many teams could lose their top 2 defenseman and still be at .500 at the 1/4 mark.

Burmi will be eventually back in the swing of things. Noel got the best out of Zherdev. So only time will tell if he gets the best out of Burmi. If we played like we did the last few games minus the ugly we should have this in the bag.

Fehr scores one and sets up burmi for 2!

This is certainly a game that if we come out and play our game, we can collect the win and 2 points from this Carolina team.

We've done well showing up against the leagues better teams, and we'll have our hands full tomorrow vs. Boston, I just hope we show up tonight because these 2 points are easily winnable. If we're going to be a playoff team, we must win these games against teams we're right in the mix with in terms of the standings.

You realize now that if we have our best game of the season that you need to eat those Burritos every game day?

On a similar note, I'm enjoying the Simpsons theme on the forum.

He can get together and eat burritos with YWGinYYZ while he plays his guitar all game. Maybe they can come up with a song about it.

Jets win 3-0.

The Glass - Slater- Burmi line does look interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if they are our top line tonight.
