Who's the genius who thought that black numbers on a red jersey would be cool?

Bournival is not helping his cause. Totally invisible out there. Best play so far, he took Dumba's position who left it to take a shot...

He is competing for more of a checking role/utility player so it's not all about being flashy.

He's not a great skater to begin with and had a lot of leg injuries. Passing on Gormley and Fowler to draft him was dumb. Not as dumb as McIlrath but still dumb.

I know. But he even have a problem with that aspect. The way they want to build this team, I see him outside looking in at this point. With Beaulieu and Gallagher in.

Huge dislike. Very selfish and I get the feeling he's too confident that he's a shoe-in, because Yzerman loaned him.

That's the word that always pops up when I watch him play: selfish. Seems to play cocky, like you said.

Though for Beaulieu.....Dumb, dumb play that created the best scoring chance. I tell you...those plays might keep him out of this lineup. Unless they have #7 in mind for him. PP specialist.

Pass right through his goalie's crease....and lose him man after. 2 bad plays in 5 seconds.

I am a Beaulieu fan. He will be something special....but sometimes, the hockey sense takes a break.....Fortunately, it's not all the time. But he'll have to learn and recognize the possible dangers.

Brisebois was as good as Beaulieu as a junior. In fact, at the worlds, Brisebois was one of the best defencemen on the ice during the tournament.

Alot of the main board think Beaulieu & Gallagher will make it but not Bournival. I haven't been able to view the games but has he been that invisible?

Absolutely not disputing that fact. I'm just projecting that Beaulieu will have more of the traits I said in the bigs than Brisebois had.
