Gonna go out on a limb here. Sabres win this one for themselves and the fans.
Kassian scores game winner in 3rd with 2:20 left on the clock.

Buffalo 3

Washington 2

And here we have the Rochester Americans facing an NHL team due for a breakout game...this should end well.

UGH who's hurt now? Sounds to me like the Faligno Adam Kassian line might make an appearence now.

Seriously these injuries are rediculous. What's that now 8 roster players injured?

If Ennis or Kaleta (who last we knew are day-to-day) don't make it into the lineup, we're at nine injured regulars.

The latest injury is a currently unnamed forward, and I would bet on seeing Folingo called up.

Yep. Perfect opportunity for injuries to overshadow whats really wrong with this team.

Kinda hard to see what's wrong with the team when we havnt had our entire roster healthy yet this year. Don't say we have because hecht Just played his first few games. Id prefer to see the whole product before I make any judgements.

Oh please. Same problem this year as we always have. Team is full of guys who lack heart (see them needing to be called out before defending goaltender), we have 1 line who scores, a 4th line that hits once every 3 games, 4 offensive defensemen who play just about every game, guys making a poop load of money and not performing to even a fraction of what their supposed to.

Injuries or not guys should look like they actually want to play the game. I have absolutely no problem with losing a game to a good team or bad if the sabres look like they gave it their all. Unfortunately (and this uas been an issue for YEARS) they look like they give it their all for maybe 20 minues a game if we're lucky.

A good chunk of these issues are always an issue with this team.

The whole team played with Hecht injured. Hecht has nothing to do with what is going on with this team. Im sorry it's not like say Vanek being out. Or say Stamkos. Its Joking Hecht. The guy has been on this team and injured every yr. he has played.

Here's to hoping that there's enough guys out now, and enough new guys coming in, that they aren't accustomed enough to Ruff's "system". Get to see what young players look like before they lose their testicles.

Being home from school for the week, I was planning on stopping in to see the Amerks Friday and then with Kassian recalled I said Saturday, and now haha I will be able to see the Amerks on TV from home. Hopefully Foligno gets recalled I think he would bring some spark. Guess I will stay at home and watch the Sabres game.

Even so hecht is making a difference this year. Considering the fact that 9 of our players are out, there's not much you can say now about the team as a whole. Players started dropping like flies quick and early. The team never got a chance to gel before guys started to get hurt. Honestly, its like a guy starts doing better and BAM he's out. Like with Myers and Boyes. When this team is on they can play with the best in the league. When they aren't then they are painful to watch. Look at the performace we got during the Europe trip. The whole team did well during those games and we looked like a great team. They got home, slumped, then started getting hurt. Not much to say after that except that even with 9 players down, they are still only a tie breaker out of 6th place, and 5 points out of first in the conference. If the team was as bad as people say that they are they'd be sitting with the islanders at 14 points.

Same here. Although even when healthy I still think they're going to need another defensive dman.
