Well, if the Sabres lose this game... I officially give up.
Bet you he scores tonight...caps have a thing for first career goals...

Kassian will be looking for his first career goal, as well.

What does everybody think the pairings are gonna be? I'm expecting:
Sekera-Ehrhoff
McNabb-Leopold
Gragnani-Brennan

With McNabb graduating to top four minutes by the end of the game because of his reach and ability to win a battle for the puck.

I think if you asked Caps and Sabres fans who will win tonight, 90% of them would pick the other team.

As with last night, I'm stuck in a house with no access to a tv with the Sabres game on. Could someone be so kind as to post a link to an online stream of the game?

Thanks in advance:-)

p.s. Do we know how serious the Regehr injury is?

p.p.s Last night's link was to a losing stream. Can the link tonight be to a winning stream please?

No idea, hopefully not too serious.

Look at www.Lshunter.tv or www.Firstrowsports.tv around puck drop. Bookmark them for future reference just in case.

I'd be very surprised if it was Vanek out. The Carter hit was overstated by Sylvester (surprise surprise).

Far more likely it's Pommers, who missed the last 5 minutes or so of the game.

FWIW, I'm actually pretty excited to see McNabb play. He's got a really nice stat line in Rochester and there's a lot about his game to like.

The hit looked clean and nothing violent ...but.... to have a player go for a check on your best player in the dying seconds of a 5-1 game and not get much of anything...is pretty disturbing.

This is a classic "resistible force meets movable object" game

Harrington's twitter said that Staff has some sort of groin issue.

From dailyfaceoff.com and player updates, they often seem to be quite accurate, but this one wont know untill the game starts. Just saying there's a chance he wont play i guess.

Does that mean Pominville is in? Harrington said that either Staff or Pominville would be his guess to be out.

I mean, how would you tell the difference if he wasn't dressed...

Weren't those kitty-cat thrusts supposed to strengthen Drew's mighty groins?

I think your sarcasm meter failed to go off. I think the question was "How would we be able to tell if Stafford was out?"

Ah, a paradox I've previously pondered, if the Bills and Sabres ever managed to meet in a championship game

The hut by Carter was actually in response to Vanek hitting Jacket right before that. It wasn't some unprovoked random hit.
