I wasn't implying that it was an unprovoked hit at all. I didn't say it was dirty.... Just shouldn't go without a response in my opinion....

And Stafford is out... Not sure if its a scratch or injury.

If they make it out of this game with 5 regulars healthy, I consider this game a win.

It's time for this team to man up. No using injuries as an excuse. This is a home game, and we should win. It's time to come out and just play a hard working 60 minutes - no need for flash, just play a road game and win. Please.

Both teams have something to play for and something to prove tonight, but I don't have a lot of confidence the Sabres will step up. Of course I hope they prove me wrong.

Someone wake me up when all these injuries go away.

So it was Stafford who is out. I wonder why they felt they needed to keep that a secret.

That move by Gerbe is underrated. No one tries that other than Vanek. Instead of taking the perimeter like they give you, snap a shot and break to the net.

Pominville must have a Sabre record for broken sticks.

Really dangerous looking powerplay. Nothing to show for it, but maybe they'll get some momentum out of it.

And big surprise there Pommer's stick broke.

Good. it was a clean hockey hit. You don't have to respond to every freaking hit that gets thrown in a game.

Response to what, a good hit on a player caught with his head down?

this miller thing is making fans go overboard. players hit other players in hockey, big surprise. it's when it's dirty that you "respond". not when someone puts a good hit on your rookie

I love Tropp. Kid's a gamer. We need more players like him.
