Is Shumpert a ROTY candidate? I say yeah. He's filthy whenever he's on the floor.

Start him at the 2 when Davis comes back and let Landry come off the bench for Carmelo.

Also Melo and Chandler have a good pick and roll going. Stat's been putting up the points without it, but his defense keeps deteriorating. He needs to start playing defense instead of looking for the rebound.

Also our defense is still horrendous. Too many times guys will either sneak into the paint for easy points when Chandler comes up to help the guards, and when he doesn't do that guys get open looks for 3's.

We should be blowing out teams like the Bobcats. Not keeping them in the game. Not happy.

And another night where Carmelo doesn't have the touch and just takes a ton of shots.

I am just so surprised that they got this tied up.

No killer instinct what so ever.

Edit: Shot after shot not going in, just pass the damn ball anthony.

He should be, but he won't win it.

Irving has been pretty good and I think Rubio is considered a rookie and he's been great. Shumpert is definitely up there, though.

This is exactly the kind of thing I was worried about with Anthony... doesn't seem that he understands the concept of efficiency. I know that the team is a bit discombobulated chemistry-wise and that they don't have a PG, but it still frustrates me to no end that he can't use his teammates.

Fields continues to look like a scrub.

Perhaps the first half last year was a mirage.

He was the same way last year, it's infuriating.

Give this team some time.just like the rangers at the beginning of the year, needs some time to grow together. Probably some more time than the rangers needed.

Melo just needs to stop trying to be "superman" in the 4th.

Agreed on all the iso play, it pisses me off. Also, Amare 7/25.

Barf.

Shumpshump said that D'antoni tells everyone to focus on Melo/Amar'e and let them play iso ball at the end of the game.

What a horrendous strategy.

The Lincoln 150?

I hope that's only for Knicks games, though it's not surprising that MSG sold that.

Tough game tonight vs. a good Sixers team.

Start of a tough schedule with them, Memphis, OKC, Phoenix, and Orlando coming up.

I always love seeing Rangers at Knicks games...there was a good connection between the two franchises in '94 and I'd love to see that revived.

Though, Clyde mentioned on a broadcast earlier this season that he hasn't watched the Rangers since Hadfield was on the team

Also think I spotted one of my high school teachers on the broadcast tonight, they were showing his two kids playing with one of their iPhones

I have my doubts that the Knicks can close this game out, they're settling for 3s

Edit: There's a reason Melo is 3rd in scoring. He takes so many ****ing shots.

He has literally passed the ball once in the past 10 minutes.

Well, that was frustrating.

Offense still looks atrocious. It's funny how D'Antoni can't draw up anything without at least a decent PG. I understand the lack of playmaking PG, but all these isos?

Both teams looked pretty terrible tonight I think, not a good test of these two teams talents.

I'll take the W any day though.

Decent win against a good team.

The whole Melo iso ball in the 4th quarter needs to STOP.

The D was refreshingly good. What if BD comes back healthy? Do you slide Shumpert and sit Landry, do you put Shumpert on the bench, or do you roll tide and have BD come in off the bench?

BD at the 1, Shumpshump at the 2. Landry comes off the bench for Carmelo.

Yeah I would put Shumpert at the 2 when Baron gets back.

Fans need to realize Fields and Douglas aren't starters.

Chandler
Stoudemire
Anthony
Shumpert
Davis

Bench:

Jeffries
Harrellson
Fields
Douglas
Bibby (Or get someone else)

I actually like Shump off the bench as our 6th man when everyone is healthy. I'd see what kind of SG we can get for a Fields + Douglas package. Probably not much lol.

Got Memphis tonight @ 8. Hate when they overlap with the Rangers.

Rangers comes first, though, so i'll probably tune in after they're over and switch between intermission.
