Haggar 2012 HHOF Legends Classic- One-Hour Feature on TSN2, 6:30 PM PST, Mon, Nov 12.
UPDATE: TSN will be airing a one-hour highlight package of the HHOF Legends Classic game tomorrow at 6:30 PM PST on TSN2, after That's Hockey 2Nite and the 2012 Induction Ceremony.
Since the announcement of this year's Hall of Fame inductees this past June, many fans have been clamoring for the opportunity to see their favorite soon-to-be Hall of Fame players return to the ice for the first time in years. This year's Haggar HHOF Legends Classic will feature Pavel Bure, Joe Sakic, Adam Oates, and Mats Sundin.
It would be amazing to see these four legends play again. In particular, it would be spectacular to see Pavel Bure play hockey in North America for the first time since 2003. There are many Canucks fans who still desire that one final chance to see Pavel play -- this is that chance. Pavel only recently began to skate again, participating in a 40th-anniversary Summit Series charity event in Russia. This may be the final chance to see him play in North America... or ever, for that matter.
The event will feature several other former NHL players, including Doug Gilmour, Bryan Trottier, Lanny McDonald, Dale Hawerchuk, Paul Coffey, Darryl Sittler, Borje Salming, Billy Smith, Wendel Clark, Tiger Williams, Valeri Bure, Theo Fleury, and Gary Roberts.
Here's your chance to see Pavel Bure live one final time!

I might be in the minority, but I find alumni games incredibly boring. I can celebrate Bure without watching him play half speed hockey with a bunch of other retired players.
With the event happening this upcoming Sunday, I'd like to bump this thread. It would certainly be neat to here some comments after the event from those attending.
I'm also still hoping someone will be able to capture some footage of Pavel. It would be fun to see how he looks on the ice again after so much time away from hockey.
The game was played earlier today, but TSN2 will be airing a one-hour feature on the game about 30 minutes after the end of tomorrow's HHOF Induction Ceremony. This may be the final time we see Pavel Bure on skates in North America!
Please check it out, and if someone has a capture device, upload the highlights to YouTube!

I was at the game. It was cool/fun, but nothing too spectacular. Sorta like the harlem globetrotters but without the really fancy tricks. Not sure if they showed it on the air, but they actually paused the game at one point so that Trottier could sing Johnny Cash. That should give you a good idea what it was like.
Fleury was, IMO, clearly the best player out there. Or at least trying the hardest.

TSN aired an abbreviated version of the game, cramming the entire game into 20 minutes with interviews interrupting much of the play. TSN edited the production very, very poorly. In fact, we only saw Pavel two or three times during the broadcast. Fan video shows that Pavel was actually very noticeable, and made some terrific moves during the game.
Here are some highlights from the event, some of it featuring Pavel:
Pavel is wearing a white uniform and a black helmet. Partway through the game, he removes the helmet.

Thanks for this. I actually taped the game and was hoping to see the whole game and instead got a pile of **** from TSN.
I understand that its was a "Legend" game but honestly what they showed was absolutely brutal.

FYI, it was two 30min periods. The inductees came out about halfway through the first. Pavel ditched the helmet during the intermission. But ya, that's too bad about the coverage...he was definitely very noticeable out there (really, all the new inductees were).
Edit: Haha...also, I can see myself in that video!
