He's averaging over 26 minutes in his last 5 games.

He's got 1 goal and 6 assists in those 9 games since his return.

= Hedmonster.

9-1-6-7, +4, 8 PIMs, 20 SOG, and over 26 minutes since coming back from concussion. Almost looks like he's breaking out finally. He's also getting rewarded power play and good power play time for his efforts.

He's on pace to hit his career averages for pts. Do we know who caused him to get a concussion or did he just fall into boards? Just Wanted to know who to thank for unleashing the Hedmonster!

If I knew this is how he would of responded after a concussion. I would of taking care of this a long time ago.

"Hey Hedman, lets go to my karate class, Today were practicing head kicks."

Why ya guys keep calling him "Hedmonster"? Its obvious from his last name, long hair and scandinavian looks that his name should be He-Man

Hedmonster rolls off the tongue well. And it's far more complimentary then the way we criticize our best player's speech impediment.

Boucher called him a monster so Hedman + monster = Hedmonster.

He(d)man is a pretty cool nickname, too. Too bad I don't have any photoshop skills...

Post right after Days.

Subtle.

The problem with calling him He-man is that Hedman hasn't reached the name recognition yet where many can put that together.

There's also the age thing, as anyone under 27 probably doesn't know a whole hell of a lot about He-man, and may not even be familiar with the reference.

Random fact: Steve Downie and I have the same favorite Ninja Turtle.

Speaking as someone who was born in the early 90's, we are familiar with He-Man.
