The Hammer is so slow. Lunging, not moving his feet. Looks like me trying to play defense for my high school lacrosse team. Rather have Collins playing than him.

Nice slap pass from orlov cross face of goal to screening/cutting forward. This game isn't above him in 3 games.

Anyone else notice Ovechkin not tucking his jersey in the last few games?
Can anyone think of a reason for this? Possibly trying to get back to the stats he had his first 2 seasons when he didn't tuck? (for the most part)

Well Wideman had a great pass to them earlier and they failed to commit. Finished it this time. Sucks as a dman when you give a great pass and forwards can't convert.

Other than a few spurts here and there throughout this season the team has been terrible.

OV playing the puck behind his own net? When was the last time that happened?

If you watch play in slow mo, Wideman doesn't chip off boards, he tries direct pass.

The question is why????

Well, look at RW? He's no where near boards upon Wideman gaining possession. This situation has been standard in this bb coached team. A boards pass goes right to the dman. And that happened to wides on pp. wides does riskier play to avoid situation.

The layman sees wides. Deeper inspection reveals structural issue.
