yes, his body connects with Letangs face/head, but that's more a result of Letang leading with his face then it is MP targeting his head.

If Shannahan stays consistent, then it shouldn't be anything... MP clearly didn't target the head and delivered a clean check, no way for him to adjust at the last second b/c Letang went face first.

Letang gets back on the ice for first time after hit... MP is on, as he skates by him he says something (clearly an apology), Letang seems to clearly indicate by his body language and head nod that he isn't pissed about the hit.

I'm no lip reader, but there was CLEARLY no anger in Letang's demeanor... if HE felt it was a dirty or cheap play, he wouldn't have been so gracious literally 5 minutes after the hit.

i think this one is clearly a non-issue... interesting to see what Shanny does (if it even gets reviewed).

I think Patches should have texted him. You know Chara did, he was serious about not wanting to hurt him.

Pacioretty committed to the hit like Malone did on Campoli. Letang put himself into position, lowering his head at the last moments before contact much like Shanahan said Campoli did.

You can compare these two quite easily, the outcome should be the same.
