Aren't these things a JM coached team should be good at?

The PP is pathetic now. It's laughable that the only personnel adjustment JM has made during this drought was benching Cole for a PP shift for Darche.

As bad as the PP has been our PK has been amazing. Gill is just so good at taking out the pass down low. I believe the last PK goal habs gave up was on a 5 on 3 vs NYR. Before that was the Pleky own goal vs Boston.

I also think that the Pleky line might need a bigger body. Even then, I don't see much chemistry between those three players. Perhaps more time is needed.

Return of AK is huge as the third line is now a real scoring threat.

Emelin should be securing his spot on the top 6. I thought Diaz was an easy bench when Markov came but one of my favorites Weber is having a real tough time. He made a terrible play on the 3rd goal.

Anywyays, hope to see Markov next week!
our PP is very laughable
it's pretty sad

Great game. Even if we lost it was a fun one to watch.

Quebec television is the best. When it comes to English swear words they allow everything. I mean they allowed nudity on network TV after 11 for years.

Yes or no.
Neither team showed much intensity, both were happy to go to OT.

I will avoid the refs as my blood pressure will just skyrocket..

Positives:

Subban+Gorges - Did a pretty darn good job all night against the leagues best. Were both good at moving the puck and as a whole were our two strongest defenders.

Price - What can I say..was amazing all night and stole us a point.

Moen - I liked his game tonight and that shot was a beaut.

Pacman-Desharnais-Cole - I didn't like Desharnais all night but that pass to Pac was amazing. Pacioretty had a great shot and a few other good chances and Cole was tremendous.

Nokelainen - Similar to Moen..loved his game tonight.

Negatives:

Plekanec - Wow..I don't even know what to say. Horrible giveaways..still shouldn't be on the point...and did nothing at all on offense. He also completely missed the Staal change that led to the third goal (altho so did the rest of the guys on the ice). This is our best forward? He hasn't looked it recently.

Gionta - Useless, soft...so unimpressed with him this year. Seems Gomez-esque how predictable he is.

Cammalleri - Avoids body contact..terrible defensive positioning and relies on his spot too much on two-on-ones when he could crash the net. Getting sick and tired of his poor effort too..maybe he should cut out all the beauty products. (sarcasm)

Gill+Weber - Gill was great on the PK..but 5 on 5 and especially that Staal goal, he was bad. Weber was horrifying to see on the ice all night..at least for me. Then they stop playing in the OT..despite a poor non-whistle..you gotta keep going.

Kostitsyn had a rough night but I won't knock the guy cause he just came back and I suspect he isn't 100%.

It was 3-3 before that ref's gift. It wouldn't be tied if they were a bunch of yahoos. Think before writing. Habs had to play a perfect game in order for complaints about the ref's screw up to be a valid point?

this team won't go anywhere with the zombie loser JM
everytime they have a lead they sit on it.
may be they didn't realize that they don't have Halak to bail them out

Martin basically said the team played well versus a tough team and to get beat by a goal like that was very very disappointing.

Canadian English TV is a joke.
I once watched a few minutes of Pulp Fiction on CBC. All the the curse words were silenced (probably 50% of all the dialogue in this movie). The movie was unwatchable. Are we in the 40's ?

I wouldn't call a broken nose "no injury" but I get your point. I think it's very close. It looks bad, but at the same time Pacio didn't have much time to react after Letang lowered his head.

I thought CBC was more open than that? My only thing is, if the movie plays after 11, it should be uncensored.

I will quickly say Pacioretty being suspended would be laughable but not surprising. I have quickly lost faith in Shanny anyhow.

The goal shouldnt of counted, there is ZERO denying that.

Now Montreal didnt lose because of refs, they lost again because Martin is an incompetent buffoon who cant see that his PP isnt working and refuses to change it. Get Pleks back to the half boards and get Subban shooting the damn puck.

Every game Montreal blows is closer to JM's firing. We can only hope they arent completely out of the playoff picture by then.
