Gionta and Cammalleri are suffering from a severe case of Gomezitis.

Gionta and Cammi and Gomez can get the **** out of here. I have never seen a more overpaid useless group of players on the Canadiens ever. They are pathetic and should be ashamed! Get them out of here already!

Gionta has been nothing special all season, and same with Cammalleri. At least Gomez showed some effort and made plays happen.

This team's leadership got lost somewhere this summer. You try to get new guys to complete Gionta and Cammalleri and once we find that guy Gionta and Cammalleri suck. Is there ever gonna be a solution?

Cammy-Plek-Gionta line is costing us games. Gionta was on ice for EVERY goal against.

You know what, I think Gionta looked better with Gomez this year than with Plekanec. Cammy is worth nothing right now, he has to be injured. Usually he's more dynamic than that.

Th line is getting out muscled defensively, its not hard to see. this is why you dont have a bunch of smurfs on one line then have Weber or Diaz with them on defense.

I appreciate Gionta's competitiveness. He brings it every night.

But that entire line has been ineffective. I want to try something new there, but you also dont want to break the Desharnais line either

Gomez has played much better than Cammalleri thus far this season, if you don't see that then I don't know what you see.

When Gomez comes back...

Elller-Plekanec-Kostitsyn
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole
Moen-Nokelainen-Darche
Cammalleri-Gomez-Gionta

it's why i'm still confused as to why Martin uses Cammalleri on the PK. Gionta works hard while Cammalleri looks lost and can't win a puck battle to save his life.

This is exactly correct, thank you. Gionta looked much better with Gomez this season, and hasn't looked any good with anyone else. Gomez has not put up many points, but him and Gionta have obvious chemistry and always know where each other are on the ice.

Stuff happens when you play against the opposing top line all the time.

wow...

in case you didn't realize it, Gionta is our 2nd highest paid winger.

So if "stuff" happens playing against the opposition "top line", don't you see the obvious problem?

to be a great team, your "top line" needs to be the one "making stuff happen" against the opposition's best efforts to stop you, not vice-versa.
