Wouldn't mind winning this one.

Spezza better start playing. If Anderson starts, he needs to be much sharper than he was against Pittsburgh.

I'd like to see Rundblad in, as well.

makes sense, can only assume Niki will be playing in this one now(unless of course we go with 7 D....and we all know how that turned out before )

This could mean good things for Petersson's production.

DD - Da Costa - AP

Rundblad and Filly in?

**** yeah.

The more skill the better. I predict a Filthy hattrick.

True.....but lets give it a couple games before we start ripping the coaching staff. I'm not sure pushing a player that's earned a scoring role out just to satisfy Filatov is the right answer either.

Petersson has been great lately, 6 point streak, mostly assists though, want to see more of that dirty shot of his.

It's a good thing for Petersson for sure, but a huge thing for Da Costa to get to a league where he'll be able to produce a bit more (I assume). Really thought they would have given Da Costa and Filatov at least 5 games together in Bingo, but I guess that'll have to wait.

Sucks to hear about DaBosta, the skill is definitely there but it so raw.

That's why I'm already under the assumption Petersson will get to play with Da Costa.

You'd think he should produce very well with the tools he's displayed at the NHL level. These expectations have a way of not always coming through the way you think....but he's shown much more than Locke ever did in the NHL.

Bingo's should get a huge boost with Da Costa and Locke in the lineup.

I don't want to see the Sens play like they did against Pens tonight. Hopefully the Stache gave the team a brutal practice to teach them a lesson.

Does anyone have any news on when Neil will be back? I know he just had a kid. But since this game is in Ottawa, is there any chance he will be playing tonight?

I would just like to point out something, The Pens game that we lost badly was basically us being rusty and lazy due to not playing in over 4 days or so. Therefore, we came out a little rusty, to say the least. Hope the Sens are back into game-mode tonight vs the canes.

it doesn't suck. it's part of learning at 21. wrong attitude for him to have would be yours. you can't throw a kid in the second line center spot coming from college and expect him to be a ppg and fit right in with alfie.
bingo is where he should be. when he's ready he will be back. the skill is there like you said.

I wonder how rusty Rundblad will be after being scratched since November 11. I am glad he is back.

Also glad about DaCosta, he needs minutes and first PP-unit. He will produce and find his confidence.

Lets win this!!!

1 player is different compared to the whole team not being able to get the feel of the game for a long stretch like we just had..

so if Rundblad and Filatov are in...

Greening - Spezza - Michalek
Filatov - Winchester - Alfredsson
Daugavins - Smith - Condra
Foligno - Konopka - Butler

Kuba - Karlsson
Cowen - Rundblad
Phillips - Gonchar

Not bad. At this point I think Winchester will (would?) be an upgrade over Da Costa. Stephane was in way over his head. I think his problem is that he's too shy and polite on the ice. He tries too hard to make subtle plays and sneak his way around the ice that he leaves too much space to the other team. Combined with his terrible faceoff numbers it's just not working out for him.

Kind of unfair to foligno but he can stuff it and go do the weather forecast.

Good answer Answer

Hopefully it gets easier for him to find the pace then.
