Am I the only one who thinks booing an opposite player, even when injured, is the right thing to do? I mean, I don't care if it's deemed unsportsmanlike, we are a hockey team, it's a competition sport and our aim is to defeat the opposition in the game of hockey. If our crowd of 18,000 can affect the outcome in Wild's favor, then so be it. I hope they continue to do it, it just may piss off an opposing player/throw them off balance and hand us a PP or other advantage.
Emphasis mine, and on that point: Only if its Bertuzzi. He is the only player I would ever boo while injured. Otherwise, you boo the other guy while hes being a dick, you boo him when he takes a run at someone, but if he gets his ass injured, you give him a reassuring cheer because thank god hes okay and able to get off the ice while conscious cause hockey is a ****ing dangerous sport and only ultra dick teams want to win games by injuring the other teams players (I'm glaring at YOU New Orleans in the NFC Championship game a few years ago).
